Aww gally. Maybe, but it could also be a few badly needed £... I'll mull it over. Meanwhile I've scanned all my DVDs and a couple of books.. about £27 they will offer me for about 50 DVDs, many of which are quite decent.. but honestly not been touched in many moons, I watch everything online onDemand and streaming - and can't honestly remember the last time I put a DVD on. Same with the books. They collect everything for free too and pay by Paypal. There is one (quite rare) boxset I want to sell that I can't for the life of me find a barcode on:huh: so need to figure that out... but I also have a feeling its in region 1 or whatever the USA one is so that might muck up my chances of selling that anyway.

Found 3 chuck items - a broken dustbuster (why did I even keep it after it broke and I replaced it?) a big cushion that ozzy chewed a hole in months ago.. and a broken stereo out of my car that is never going to repair itself and has also been replaced. :T
Oh and shoeboxes. Why do I keep shoeboxes. I DON'T HAVE ROOM TO KEEP SHOEBOXES!

I'm now at the point where I've gone in to this like a bull in a china shop and have stuff all over the place and wish I hadn't started :rotfl: But am gonna find a BIG box for the DVDs and tidy up :)

God I'm so waffly today - soz

    Hi Levi

Offer the shoe boxes on freecycle!! Freecyclers often need them for arts and crafts project storage so will happily collect them from you!! It would make a good start for you on Freecycle to offer something before you ask for something if that makes any sense!!!. Or maybe LL could put some of his little toys in them in his bedroom. Remember shoeboxes do stack well so always good for storing items.

You could always advertise for a duvet for LL on Freecycle too!! All you will need to do is give it a good wash then stick it in the dryer and there you go money saved!! Also advertise on Freecycle for a duvet for him!! Some people give away really good stuff on there!!

Also the files too!! You could advertise for some on Freecycle first and if no joy then go and buy some. In my area I see files and office stuff being offered all the time.

How about using the shoe boxes to store all your correspondence!! Just a thought!!! :rotfl:

Glad your weekend is going well!!!

Good idea Edwink, I will Freecycle things to give away I'd rather do that than ditch things any way! I will also do that with the car stereo I think because it may well be repairable or worth it in parts to someone.
The boxes are a bit too narrow for my paperwork Edwink but otherwise a genuis plan :D
I got a bit carried away & reckless with my "I DON'T NEED THAT" mentality - and my Ziffit order is almost £42.. completed now, found a big enough box and can drop it off at any collect+ place (free) in the week.. then they send the money straight to my bank account. It will pay for a couple of bits and bobs anyway and I've cleared an entire big shelf of one of my cabinets which is helpful.
Tomorrow if I feel brave I might pull everything out of the wardrobe and sort it to clear desperately needed space in there.. mine and Luca's clothes are in complete chaos. When he moved in I was in so all over the place I remember thinking I can sort everything later and well.. never really did :o

^ I was planning this big sort out/clear up/chuck out session when I have a week off in April but heck, I'm ahead of the game now and it kept me busy. Three piles have begun - sell, donate, bin.

..I need a little sit down and a glass of Lidl's finest red now. :)
