You have some really great ideas to help LL Messy Betty!!

    And three cheers for FGN!!!:A

Thanks for mentioning the Noddle report Levi. I didn't know about it and have just done a search and found out it's free - although if yours is 2/5 mine will be at least MINUS 2/5!! Although I don't expect they will do minus figures so mine will be 0/5 I should think.

How long does it take to get it through? I think I should get it so I can keep an eye on "things" :o

It's instant - after you put the bits and bobs they ask for in online, it pulls up your report (which is really good overview of everything) and then updates monthly and emails you to let you know it has done so, so you can view it again. :)

What a lovely FGN you have & what a brilliant idea! Did Superman make it through the night?

Thinking about sticker charts (& continuing the Superman theme), I wonder if he'd find these more motivating than the standard stars http://www.amazon.co.uk/Superhero-Stickers-Party-Fillers-supplied/dp/B002ATMPXY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1426928517&sr=8-2&keywords=superman+stickers

There are some downloadable Superman themed reward charts, too. Just Google.

:j He was there all night and by 8:45am I'd still not heard a peep out of him, had a look in his room and he was still sparko with Ozzydog UNDER the quilt snuggled up to him :p He's up now and I told him Superman left me a message to say how impressed he was with him. He doesn't like the duvet in that room, has said it before - to do with him being used to the kingsize 100000 tog one that I have I think.:rotfl:

Love the stickers! We had a sheet of Batman ones but he wasted most of those the night he decorated Ozzy ;)

LOL- applemuncher maybe she'll qualify for the Syl Fam thing by the time she is 18 :T :D

Could it be worth investing in a new duvet for his room? Perhaps the Magic Shop has one!

Wow (gulp!!) scared now......LOL!!!! I'd better do it though, I already know it won't be good so it won't be a shock....will it??? At least I'll be able to see if there are any errors etc.

Thanks again for the info:j xx

Post copied from my diary to yours!!

I saw last night, just before going to bed at a ridiculously late hour once again, that we can now add our diary link to our signatures!!

Have just done mine - look forward to seeing all of yours too!!

This will help us keep track - it's a really nice idea I think! The details are on a Sticky at the top of the DFW Diaries board x

That is a great idea Humming :)
Good luck with Noddle but don't worry if it's bad, it will improve :)

greyfox - yes, I think I may have to... seems a bit daft to give a tiny four year old a king size but I know he loves to feel swaddled! x

We have just been for a really nice long walk with Oz.. finished off with an icecream and a hot choc (from a flask of it we brought with us 0 weird combo I know)... it was chilly but fresh and all of us benefited from the fresh air. And the whole "adventure" cost less than £5 and was money well spent for all three of us!

Noddle don't accept me!! They think I am pretending to be myself :D so I have never managed to get a report from them. Probably a good thing. They are agents of paranoia ;)

Levi I think a kingsize is an amazing idea, but so is a good snuggle with ozzy dog. Have you tried a (not boiling) hot water bottle? Jelly is just the same but toddlers aren't great at regulating their temp and she gets rating hot and sweaty in my bed. So she has her little duvet and occasionally a hot water bottle to snuggle on cold nights. She keeps it warm which keeps her warm ;)

Am impressed with your walking power. We are going nowhere. Am shivering indoors with the heating on, so freezing, damp and windy it is here on the cliffs!! :D

    Much love xx

He has the same issue with getting too hot at night - he often is a sweaty mess when he gets up..but is oblivious to how hot he gets.. he hasn't had a hot water bottle before so he might like that.. and he loves to always be completely bundled up like a cocoon so if I get him a bigger size duvet at least there will be plenty of room for him and Ozdog and might be yet more incentive to be in his own bed. :)

    Hi Levi,

Sticking my head in from lurkdom again.

How about a double? am thinking that you could fold it over so he lays on half and is tucked in with the other half, like a sleeping back, and also, you can probably get adult double size cartoony duvet set, or even superhero style!

I think you are doing an amazing job. Just look how well the bedtime routine is working. It sounds like it is doing LL good getting more sleep, and have the stability of his routine, and that extra night time time for you to let yourself unwind, helps you too.

    Well done you!

Would a double be big enough? Would cut down the cost & there's a slightly better range of kids' covers than for king-size.
