+ do that thing for Natwest - or have you already done that?

Before you give your CDs to the charity shop, would it be worth trying MusicMagpie? You might get something for them.

Good luck with your list Lilts:) I've already knackered myself out lol.

Walked dog, food shopping done (£38) including extra trip to 99p shop to buy packing tape for the DVDs box. Kondo'd all of my t-shirts, taught LL the art and he is doing his as we speak (worryingly it seems he is better at it than I am:p I keep hearing him saying to himself 'rectangle.. rectangle.. RECTANGLE!') Mine look super duper tidy and small now though! I'm gonna pop them all back in their cupboard and having moved some other crap out of there too, I plan to relocate all of my trousers in to the same cupboard..THUS freeing up some room in the dreading wardrobe in the process.

A few more things in the chuck pile. Remaining CDs not worth donating - scratched or caseless etc, so bin for them. Gonna freecycle the old VHS and DVD player. Having a cheeky cuppa for a lunch break and then crack on. I feel so industrious:beer:

Next up - put away all the kondo shirts, relocate trousers, box up freecycle bits, tape the Ziffit stuff and put box in car to drop off tomorrow, put away other laundy, cook dinner. LL is enjoying being my little helper so it's dead handy getting him involved but at the same time exploiting him for cheap child labour :rotfl:

    Levi!

I have a bone to pick with you.

I'd never heard of Ziffit until you mentioned it yesterday. So today I decided to do a quick price comparison against the musical bird one.

The quick comparison turned into putting 150 dvd's into ziffit. Then comparing that list against MM and seeing who paid more for what. Then going through both sites and taking out the cheaper ones. Then doing it all again because I hadn't deleted the right ones.

However, doing the comparison and splitting it I have earned another £12.

So the bone now turns into a thanks, lo

;) oh I thought I was in trouble then. :o Yeh I'd not heard of them myself til yesterday but was looking for one of those trade-in places and it kept coming up with the best reviews across the board and the little app turned out to make things really easy with its scanner :T I ended up doing 80 DVDs and a handful of books, getting about £42.. all seems pretty straightforward, just have to print the label out tomorrow and take it to the click collect at the petrol garage. Glad you had a good result from it too :D its one hell of a box to lug though! x

    Exhauuuusted.

Kondo-mania basically took over...after all of our t shirts were done, I ended up doing all my trousers, which are now neatly in their new home, and then all of LL's trousers and all his PJs which for both of us has massively condensed things for better use of space. Really has made a huge difference, not to mention the tidiness of how it looks and how we can much easier see the clothes. Have a few empty drawers now for both of us, to relocate more stuff out of the main wardrobe - probably next weekend for the finishing touches to that, combined with another bin, donate, sell session. I'm also going to adopt a "one in, one out" policy for both me and Luca for clothes now - if we get anything new, something has to go..space is too precious and a lot of Luca's clothes are quite shabby presently - so if we can gradually replace new for old, and as he grows pretty quick too, we'll keep on top of the limited space saga. I have more clothes than any man should ever have to be honest and doing this exercise today reminded me of that :o So I really don't need to buy anything for the forseeable!

Popped the VHS/DVD on Freecycle and within a few minutes a dude had emailed me - collecting tomorrow :j He's happy, I'm happy. I'm throwing in all the scart cables, remotes etc, and they both still work.. so nice result all round there for my first foray in to Freecycle world!

I have stroppy, tired LL now asleep (in my bed).. :undecided ..wouldn't cooperate with anything this evening, refused to have his hair washed, wouldn't eat his tea (roast chicken, cubed oven baked potatoes, veg).... it all started after took a nap at about 3pm until about 4:30pm (I let him against my better judgement) but I woke him up.. and he had the right hump.. until then he had been happy as a clam helping me out with all the sorting, etc. Ah well.

I have 2 last thing to do which is getting out or clothes for tomorrow & pack lunches. Brand new Louie Theroux episode..and red wine are the only things on the agenda after that .. I need another weekend to get over this one :p
    :heart2: x
