Hello Levi, bit nervous at mo, as have come home to a phone message to ring Nationwide about my ppi claim on my mortgage. I have a horrible feeling they are going to turn me down. I don't want to talk to anyone from there on the phone, surely its not professional and everything should be in writing. Am hoping if I don't ring them they will have to write to me. In other news today, my new pedometer fell down the toilet at work. It was only a day old, and I had only done 1400 steps at that point. It disappeared, couldnt even fish it out. I would get a fit bit but I don't even have a smart phone to link it to yet, just a brick. I am still waiting to leap into the 21st Century.
Although Ben was away from me for only a week, keeping busy was the key for me. Somebody at work suggested before he went that I should have a few days away with a friend, and I was horrified by the notion that I should enjoy myself while he was away, but looking back I think next time he goes away with the school (gulp) I will try and do this, some grown up time while the chance is there. Love your updates Levi, hope your mum is keeping well xxx:)0 -
Mandy, so sorry for delay, I've been so busy/tired this week it's unreal. I promise you It's fine - I had this call when I made my claim and it generally means they have just started looking into it and will need a few more details! A "no" would for sure be a letter so this if anything is a good thing!
Trust me I had the same feeling when they phoned me but I am pretty sure you will be totally fine.
Sorry about your pedometer!
I want a Fitbit too but that is just a dream when I don't even have enough money for essentials atm!
Love hearing from you Mandy & all..call back Nationwide, they will just have a few questions and from there, it was a matter of days from when I had my offer (granted mine was Natwest but I bet they all follow them same steps.) Let us knowxxxxx

Hey dudes, hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying this sunshine
Sorry for my forum-lethargy, the week has been manic at work and evenings I have been so tired it sapped my MSE-mojo as my brain slows down to 2nd gear I have nothing worthy to contribute lol.
Glad it is almost the weekend. Work is crazy but on the whole, good-crazy. I have my new permanent assistant who started on Monday so training him is a lot, but he is very capable and seems very nice so that is a great start.
LL is fine - in the middle of next week his grandma and his aunty arrive in London to spend a few days with him/us before taking him back on the 23rd, which has all come around so fast. I have to start getting organised with his packing and everything at the weekend, I've literally done nothing thus far (denial I think)
He is at swimming tonight so will be home around 6pm. I'm cooking salmon, rice and corn (not on the cob Me&O:))

Being the ever-generous one I am
, I gave the cobs to the ex this morning when he spied them in my fridge... so I am cob-less lol.
Think I overdosed anyway, can't face it presently!
Glad you're having a fairly good week.

Morning you. Sorry for being nowhere the last few days. Stress at work pre holiday had me in bed with a headache Thursday night at 6, and last night I had to go earlier than that with a migraine. Seems my diet cannot beat the work stress
but I am sticking to it rigidly so happy it was just one migraine in the last 2 months instead of one every 3 days
Had to take the tablet so feeling really sluggish today though not as bad as last time.
Hope you have a fab weekend with the wee fella. Don't let work take over entirely while LL is away, you need to find some time for you as well! xxxx

Hey lovelies,
An overcast Saturday here - but quite warm.
Had a Tesco delivery this morning as they had sent me some vouchers etc, leading to £13.50 off in total.. and there were some quite good offers on items I usually get, so that worked out well, about £46 for everything that will last a week or more. My costs will drop a bit on the food front while LL is away too!
I have lost another 2lbs-ish in the last week, so certainly the sensible approach has kicked in - just eating less junk, more fruit, being more active (taking the stairs instead of lifts etc), no full sugar drinks/booze and no snacks. I'm still eating normal meals and have felt satiated.
Two loads of laundry on and must get LL's suitcase started this weekend. Kids clothes are so cheap in the US I'm sure he will stock up on some of the essentials while out there too. I need to send him with a bit of money as I don't want his US-fam to just think I am asking them to buy him stuff and pay 100% of his running costs, even though I know they are happy to do so. He told me yesterday he isn't going and stuck to his guns on that until I reminded him about Seaworld, lol. But I am prepared for this to-and-fro which I am expecting to worsen as the date gets closer!
Otherwise I have nothing to say.
Have updated my sig to just a total figure, for ease. Still frightful but I did some maths and it is possible that 29 months could see it gone if things go entirely to plan (things don't tend to do that do they!)
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. X- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -
