Hope you had a wonderful day at Legoland today, we had tickets for Alton Towers to take the little man to CBeebies land but couldn't go due to the closure. Hope that didn't mean Legoland was mega busy for you.

Hey Locas!
Sorry about the small delay - had to deal with something awful on Friday night slash Saturday- details I'll spare you but nothing to worry about and all OK now!
Legoland was AMAZING! Thank you so much to the special Vida Loca that made that possible, you know who you are ;-) You made one little boy incredibly happy. He was more tired at the end of it than I'd ever known him to be and fell asleep on the way back... we must have walked for miles during the day. The weather was great actually, lots of sunshine and warm, but not too warm and periods of cloud which was good for the shade! LL enjoyed Duplo Splash Safari (we were there AGES.. animals and water, his fave combo) and L-Drivers were he got his own license at the end of it, made his day. He also ended up with a fake tattoo which he is refusing to scrub off in the bath ;-) Bet he will be showing that to the whole school tomorrow. He really really loved it and was able to limit his spending to his pocket money to the £5 pocket money that he had, on a little Lego model from the shop.
We took our own food and drink which worked out well & thanks again for all the handy tips on that front! xx Amazing day and a great warm up to LL's Florida vacation soon, the lucky rugrat.
Other news. Sunflower pic from today, 7 June..
William is looking incredible as you can see :-) So tall and strong. George and Charlotte not bad either. LL taking it very seriously, been watering them in the evening with plant food in the water, and they are getting plenty of sunshine atm
I am not ignoring the fact that there has been a little negativity happening on this diary the past few days but I would like to retain the equilibrium as much as possible - differences of opinion happen, people get hurt - but for the interests of all of my readers I'd like to move swiftly on and I thank those who got involved in defence of my position, you know who you are.I am sorry that MarsBarGirl has decided to no longer post or read here on this diary, but I wish her well for her future and her own wellbeing going forward.
I really have no further comment to make on that.
I spent Sunday with my cousin who is usually based in Spain, so that was a nice catch up. We were outside much of the day, loads of sun, beautiful weather. Back to work tomorrow, but feeling fine & ready for it over all. Realised yesterday from my calendar that I have "things on" every weekend now until 11th July which will help me a lot when LL leaves on the 23rd June.
Keeping my spends low and feeling positive about that.
Found out I can claim back £60 per year for the past 4 years on some work expenses so filled out all the forms yesterday and will post it off.. it will be nice to receive that, I had no idea I could claim it, MSE strikes again.! Speak soon, will catch up properly on threads very soon :heart2: x x

Hurrah! I'm so pleased you both enjoyed your day at Legoland, and such good weather for you!!
Don't feed the sunflowers everyday.. Too much is as bad as not enough, once or twice a week is plenty.xx

Levi, Ive just sent you a PM and then up you pop....
lovely to see the progress of the sunflowers, glad you have had a good sunday you have put me to shame I havent left my flat but have been productive and done some housework and mooched around...
Im loving the positivity about returning to work, thats great, it amazing what a little bit of keyboard work can bring, with regard the the expenses claim, that will put some pennies back in your wallet (yay) and also great news on your social calendar, that will definitely make you smile inside and keep you busy and keep that black dog at bay...
I for one am proud of you, you have turned a corner and started to sprint towards happiness - Love it

Hi Levi, glad you had a great time at LegoLand. Finally got a washing line rotary thing sorted today, just in time for the lovely weather today up North, only had the tumble dryer for past year as tree went rotten which was one end of washing line. Done 5 loads today and got all dry, so hoping electric bill will now come down. Back to school and work for us in morning too, Since sats exams all finished kids have been promised no more homework this term. Glad about this, as I struggle with his comprehension homework:rotfl:Wishing you both a great week, sunflowers looking champion xxx0
