I went down to browse the British Heart Foundation charity shop @ lunch time and they were running a "Summer Songs Sweepstake" for £1 (to the charity obvs).. had to pick your fave summer song on the list and put your name and number on it to try to win a £10 prize. Anyway.. La Vida Loca was on there! so I took it, has to be a lucky omen and if not at least thats £1 to the charity so no harm done!- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

I can remember the other 2 I was torn between ... California Girls (Beach Boys).. and Summer Love (Justin Timberlake).. the latter really is my favourite as it holds major happy memories from summer 2007 for me! That was the song I fell in love with my wife to... with a backdrop of a beautiful sunny Orlando summer...20 years old and the world at my feet and not a care in sight. ahh. I wanted to pick that but was drawn by la vida loca and connection to this place but if you play the JT one on the radio give me a shout out :)xx- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

This made me get out my summer 2007 playlist while I'm cooking - ..another massive one was Hey There Delilah..gone proper sentimental.. I don't like memories, even happy ones make me sad.. we agreed at the time that if we ever had a baby girl we would name her Delilah due to that song!:p:o- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Hope you win! Seems like a sure sign

Hope you have an awesome day at Legoland tomorrow! My boys loved it there so I'm sure LL will too. Try to take some drinks etc with you as it's quite expensive when you are in. I'm sure it won't be too busy as it's term time, but if it is, a hot tip is to go to the back of the park and work backwards to avoid the biggest queues.
Also, take a towel and swimwear for the Duplo splash area XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks guys, he is sooooo psyched about Legoland & we are all set with handy tips and insider tricks galore
Thank you all very much. It should be a great day for us both and make a lovely change.
I had quite a good day.
I know you are all right about the eating shizzle, so I did eat more today..made a point of it. I have stocked up on healthy things to snack on but just cutting on the junk is going to make a big difference so I have to remember not to go too extreme other wise. I had raw carrots cut up to snack on whilst at work, and raisins - which I also pack for LL's lunchbox so just did extra for me which I never normally do, but were yummy.
For tea I had tuna steak, potato salad, corn on the cob and salad. Then I had a few grapes and some galia melon for dessert.
I don't have a slow cooker I'm afraid Me&O but love to do the odd casserole and what have you when I have the day off so I can let it cook for ages and then freeze batches.:)
Work has been fine.
Have a training session to get up to speed on law stuff on June 24th in Brighton! That will be interesting, I enjoy that part of my job quite a lot (employment law basics, equality rights, etc) so always happy to get up to speed.
No spend day other than the £1 sweep stake for BHF.
Was invited out at work by the (how to say this very politically correctly? .. HOT) new(ish) girl at work for lunch or coffee..I was rather awkward about it but said I'd email her.. what kind of an answer is that? LOL.. I am awkward as heck.
But was rather taken aback. I don't really feel up to doing it.
Meh.
Not much else. Going to get an early night as tomorrow will be a busy and exhausting day! But in a good way:heart2: night xx

So am I. Much more sensible!
Now, BGK on & send that email! She's only suggesting lunch or a coffee. Nice to know that people who know you in RL recognise that you're one of the "Good Guys" whom they'd like to get to know better. (We on here already know that, of course.)
Have a super day tomorrow & a great weekend with your cousin.
