Ooh, I consider them non-sweet but I'm probably a bad judge of that! I never add sugar to them but as with Rice Krispies - find them to be at the find plain end of the cereals spectrum and good breadcrumb substitute. Frosties are indeed epically sweet and I struggle with those and Crunchy Nut Cornflakes too for that reason - when the milk starts to taste of sugar there's a problem- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Yeh I don't consider Cornflakes sweet either. I love Crunchy Nut Cornflakes but they have to be soggy
They have to be soaked in milk for about 20 minutes first!! So, Soggy Nut Cornflakes :rotfl:

Funnily enough I watched a program about one of the Ramsey kids making fish finger sandwiches with cornflake crust...

while we are sharing recipes, can I just throw one in for the quickest homemade pizza ever? I cup plain yoghurt and 2 cups flour. Any type seems to work for us. mix it together, shape into baking tray, cover with tomato puree/pasata or failing that ketchup. Add cheese and what ever else you like. 20 mins or so in oven. Thats it. Great to make with kids.:p0

me and LL are going to amble along to a local afternoon car boot sale today, with Oscar. you never know. i want to get him a few more books to take to the US, for the aeroplane and for bedtime, etc.
had quite a lazy morning so far which was needed - we all slept in- but i have managed to get his suitcase started and also clean the inside of all the windows with the karcher.
i have another project for while he is away sorted now which is something overdue that needs doing on my car which I plan to do over the course of a few weekends.. save myself the costs of having it done at a garage and also to fill up the time. i am learning everything i can about how to do it meanwhile and i think it is within my capabilities. (famous last words heh heh). i have also been invited for a weekend in bournemouth by a friend for the 27th/28th which is the first weekend he is away so that will be nice too, my only costs will be petrol as i'll come 'self catering'!
have a good sunday ya'll xxxxxxxx- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Pleased to see that you are more upbeat Levi. Hope the packing goes well this week and that LL's grandma and Aunty arrive safely. Are they staying with you until they all depart? The little ones at out school love playing with mud and I can remember when I was little making mud pies, brings back such happy memories. Hope sunflowers are happy. Xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Ooh BILLIE you just reminded me, I forgot to take a sunflower pic today - but the three of them are doing well and getting taller and stronger. LL showed an interest in some of FGN's poppies so she planted a few of them in the same pot, when everything is out they will look nice together yellow and red! LL says he wants to see them on Skype while he is away but hopefully they will still be around when he gets back.
His G'ma and Aunty are staying at a hotel and having a mini-holiday at the same time but I will be spending time with them in the evenings so they can see LL's routine and make sure he is comfortable with them etcIt should work out OK xx

Sounds like a good plan of action Levi and hope your farewell is not too painful. Will you go over there to bring him back or will they do the return journey as well? Xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0
