That's what we are doing. Yes you are right. Most people are not ill so dont have reduced hours like me. I am proud that i am doing my best. Saving is a slow process but I will get there.

I was thinking the same about saving over lockdown. I think some people have much more disposable income than others. I am already quite frugal and on a lower income too, so there is a limit to how much I can save. Travel into work is a high cost but that hasn't been the case for me for over a year. You do amazingly well with the resources you have.

I'm glad your friend is improving.

Thank you so much, I have had to upgrade my phone package and it'll now be the princely sum of £15 a month!!! to get ready for work. I have £112 in account but once bills are paid and next month's credit card I am at £-22.
After today only 2 working days till payday. I am really looking forward to having money again! A long day today. Please let it go by quickly.

It's still a good package price, have you seen the cost of the fancy phone contracts 😲
What are you putting on your CC?

Hope today went nice and quickly and you managed to have a good day nonetheless. Nearly payday :)

Maybe reduce your savings a bit and only use the CC for big / occasional purchases, in a few months you'll be straight again and it's one less bill to worry about.

That's a good idea, I will not save so much in my xmas fund maybe £50 (I really dont want to stop house and retirement savings as my salary will drop v soon) and see if that helps to get rid of cc bill. We get paid in one working day!!!! hurrah.
