I'm working really hard to do all my work over the next day. Cannot wait to see Steve he is talking today I'm so happy. The sun was shining outside and I felt really positive at times. Everyday with him for the last two years has been a blessing as we didnt think he would make it out of intensive care then. We have been so lucky. He has been happy and he knows we love him. I met them on MSE. We went to rescue a lady who we thought needed help. lol. 10 years ago i think when i was having my building work done! I think i have £17 left in my current account so am paying for this weekend using emergency money which it is.Aiming for a minimal spend 20224

I worked my socks off yesterday to see them today. A tiny bit of work to do first then i am going to see my dear friends.
I saved too much last month (an extra £277 I shouldn't have saved all of it) , and i have £18 left for bread and fruit and there are 9 days till payday. Luckily I am living on the boys food supplies . Emergency fund is there too. V happy to be going today. Thank goodness my darling niece is taking me.
It feels far away but in only two weeks we have Easter hols and a bit of peace and some more day trips planned to see the boys (too many drs and nurses in and out of house all day so i cant be in the way) along with the usual marking and maybe some gardening. I do hope this year has no more nasty surprises i am just about coping. All sorts going on at work and we will hear news soon, keeping fingers crossed!Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -

Thank you Steve was cheerful and so happy to see me. I am so pleased i that I saw him It's crazy to say it but seeing him made me panic less even though he is so vv ill. He was as charming and polite and happy as ever. I am going again and again as soon as i can they have always been there for me and Im going to enjoy every moment. Andy is being amazing doing so much. They are so cheerful and positive even thinking of them is a joy of memories that will last my lifetime.
As to work things are looking grim. I am not sure of specifics for me yet though I will find out soon enough I suppose.
I have all but £20 of next month's credit card bill saved, £18 in my account.
4 working days till payday.
Tomorrow i have to go to pharmacy, get bread, fruit, do marking. Then I will rest.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223 -
The weather was cloudy but dry and I ended up doing 3 and a half hours of walking to complete several jobs. My fridge is full of healthy food (cost £30 including presents for people) now. It was good to go out as it stopped me getting down. The important thing is that my dear friend is as happy and comfortable as possible. He has rung me 3 times today for only one minute but that is fantastic as there have been days when he couldnt even talk. I am over the moon now.
Clothes have been washed and line dried. Marking is done also. This month I will need to borrow £20 from March's wages to pay off my April credit card. I have used the emergency fund also and will replenish this asap. 3 days till the weekend, 4 working days till payday.
I'm wondering how people managed to save so much over lockdown. I suppose i have but i am a low income earner so I could only cut out takeaways and ebay.

Maybe video calls would be easier, you can talk with him and its only facial expressions needed not words.
Shopping is good and funds will be saved up again.
People have not been going out and only spent money on food at home, no takeaways, pub, coffee, lunches, travel and holidays have been paid for. You honestly shouldn't be comparing yourself as all circumstances are different.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
