Bless you Skinty all I am doing today is painting the garden panels. Hello ginnyknit i hope you are not doing too much, I painted from 11-5 and have done 4 and mowed the grass and am now officially dead. lol. From Monday onwards I am only doing one a day! The good thing about being poor is that I can keep myself busy in the garden as I cannot afford to go out.
The boys have just bought me some more petunias and are delivering them in the next few days. Hurrah. My dead ones have been growing flowers so all is not lost.
I have bought 4 hand sewn facemasks for £10 for when I go back to work and my trendy new iron came today. I will try it out tomorrow.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -
I am totally in agreement with the gardening activity. Keeps you occupied and in my case, sane! Well, sane-ish...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Hello ladies, I changed the name from The Kitchen Fund ages ago in my head but didn't know how to do it on here. With the new layout I saw how to do it - the ultimate aim is to save for a happier future. I would still like a new kitchen though but might do that when I feel a bit more confident about the future.
Tomorrow I wont paint as it should rain a bit however I am planning to move some plants from the greenhouse into the garden and replant the tomatoes from the pots into the ground. Then I might chill for a bit.

Whoop to changing the title, it's so much more fitting to where you are now with everything 🤗
As long as your kitchen has cupboards, a sink with running water, your cooker etc it's a kitchen and does what you need it to. I will be doing mine before retirement, same as some other things. Gives plenty of time to save and enjoy life.
Have fun in the garden 😁Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
It is drizzling v slightly outside. I have tidied some towels away and have tidied 1/3 of my kitchen cupboards. I would like to try my new iron today too. MF, in another few years when feel more secure I will get a new kitchen.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

I hope so but just cannot trust my workplace. I tidied my kitchen cupboards, moped about watching a backlog of hoarding programmes to motivate myself and then planted 2 plants. All being well I would like to put the others in tomorrow !!!! I am hoping my scales will arrive tomorrow. Only £5 from marketplace.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

I thought you were kidding when you said you didn’t know where the scales were because you didn’t want to get on them 😂
