My spendy friends like to go to the cinema and then the big food shopping complex close by and it is soooo expensive. They don't like to change their routine. They have inheritances and work full time earning almost double what I do. Neither of my spendy friends like to tidy v much that's why they are always out shopping or eating as their houses are 'hoarded'. It's funny how we are all different. I will do this with other friends though. lol.
I have done a fair bit of tidying (washing, vacuuming, made beds) and planted another 100 bulbs. I am also sorting out some of the drawers in my room and sorting out some work papers as I couldn't when Susan stayed. It is nice just to be able to do a bit of tidying.
There is a storm outside and it's torrential rain on and off. Glad I am not outside today. I might see if I can just buy what food I need from the corner shop tomorrow to avoid a supermarket shop.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I have marked all day on and off and just called it a day. As a treat I ordered 30 alliums for £8.00:o I couldn't help it they will last forever. I spent £8.00 on food today too.
I have some prep to do tomorrow and then a work meeting on my day off. Roll on summer hols. :jAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

I am at home getting ready for a work meeting on my day off. This is such a rubbish task for one of the subjects that is so unprepared. I am rushing as I loathe it.
To take my mind off it I have done some tidying. lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I don't think my university houses were ever as clean and tidy as when we were revising for exams - cleaning and tidying seems to be a very female method of procrastination, doesn't it???

Hello , this is the 3rd time that I have posted but they keep disappearing into the Universe!
Work meeting was fine. I have been posting all my tulips and alliums this week. Parents have come and are looking after me. I have marked and also done some resting.
The temperature is taking a turn for the worse this weekend. We have had the heating on for a good 4 hours everyday whilst parents are here.
On a positive front I haven't bought anything from fleabay or anything at all. I have had a refund of xmas meal money from work as they have changed the day.:D:D
I just wish I could avoid wasting money. I have fallen in the trap of eating cooked roasts at work and it is sooo expensive. I will take sarnies in for the rest of the month as I am having to borrow money for my credit card from the emergency fund. Still I am happy and healthy and all is well so I cant be down.
I must be MSE, I must, I must. :jAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Oh a roast sounds lovely, especially in this cold weather.
Could you take soup with your sandwich so you are still getting something hot?
The countdown is on for all the paydays!

That is so tempting but that is how I ended up poor. Buying a bit here and there and then it all adds up. lol. :rotfl::rotfl:
I am so glad to be home work was horrendous. I hate calculating people. I do hope it all calms down eventually. Roll on Friday.
I put my tree up yesterday it makes me feel much happier and helps me to forget about work. lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
