  • Eeeeek, good luck with the no Ebay month!! You can do it!

I know how you feel about the credit card bill, I had to buy flights to the US this month and have had to put it on my credit card.... I need to have a bit of a financial tidyup this weekend and shuffle some money across from my savings to pay that off this month. I start my job on Monday so will finally be able to stop living off savings though, can't wait!

I'm so glad you're not having to deal with this alone. Is £230 for food and fun feasible for you? Sounds like some meal planning is in order :)

Hi on my new low salary that is going to be my new permanent spend on food and fun. Yikes.

I'm going to walk to supermarket tomorrow and take the taxi back as I am desperate to get some food. I left work early as I have to pop to get urgent prescription. Going now.

I am waiting to see when I am visiting Steve. I do have to do a food shop tomorrow too. The food shop will hopefully last for two weeks and cost £33 but I had to pay £8 for a taxi.

Ive done a fair bit of tidying so am v happy. Just waiting for Susan to wake up at 3ish and then we can visit Steve.

Yesterday I spent about £1.65 on sweets. Today I didn't spend any and for the first time in ages dried my clothes outside on the line. Very MSE!!!!

Work has changed my day off and I am marking tomorrow from home but I will do it quite slowly. I did some today as well. Now it's chill time.

He is. I hadn't been able to post as my password needed changing and I forgot what the old one was.

He is much better and is at home now. However I have had stress headaches for days and I have been resting. I am not going out to visit anyone for the rest of the week and am just going to appreciate the peace and quiet at home whilst catching up with work when the headache goes.

Susan will leave soon and then my parents are coming.

So glad Steve is back home, and hope that your headaches are fading fast. Stress ones are the worst, you know why they're there, you know you can't get rid of them without being less stressed, which in turn makes you feel more stressed!

Yes, you are so right. Today is going to be a good day. Susan is leaving this afternoon and I am tidying round her then I am marking and waiting for my parents to arrive.

House is spotless. Yay. I will clean the windows tomorrow and then carry on with work.

Parents are looking after brother who is ill so I don't have any visitors today. I popped to the corner shop and bought a lovely bunch of reduced price flowers (left over from Valentine's Day) for £2.50 and some food to get me through the day. It's beautiful outside.

I'm just wondering how I am going to be able to make more money. I fancy doing something completely different. I am going to see if I can get a sales job or something interesting over the summer. It would be good to earn some more money.

My brother will do some decorating for me over the summer saving me plenty of money. I'm not going on holiday because of the threat of redundancies at work but I will have fun in the garden.

Ive had a fab day so far my friend took me out and we had fun. I have about £20 for spending till payday. Work does owe me £25 in expenses though so I will claim it asap.
