That's not too bad, really. Whenever we have charity events in my office I usually blow a fiver on cakes and tombolas and goodness knows what else.

All I did was tidy and do some work for work over the last few days. lol. It's raining now. It is so nice that the days are getting brighter. Ive been invited to a work social and for once, I might actually go. Work is better now that creep guy has left.

To save money (on taxi fare) I went to the corner shop and bought some snacks for my meals. Total spend £3.70 which is much cheaper than a big supermarket shop. lol.

Parents are visiting which is great. Today we went to visit the shops and I didn't buy anything. Total spend £2.60 on parking. I owe parents money for food but dad wont take anything. I will be v assertive and insist.

It snowed lightly today. Luckily it didn't settle. I managed to do some work too. :j

Did the creep get sacked? Nice low spend day. KW and I spent a fortune - nice lunch out for the 3 of us to celebrate DD's birthday and my new job :)

Later we went to Costco to get a washing line (woohoo) and bought some cool mugs for our new house - 14 weeks and 6 days til we move, not that we're counting or anything :):)

Oh and I also bought tickets for me and possibly a fellow fan to go and see Early Doors in Brum in September. She's not sure if she can make it, so KW will accompany me if not! I'd just have to initiate him into the ways of Early Doors beforehand....not a hardship!

I'm hoping the snow settles so I don't risk going out and spending any more money!

Yes he did well he was escorted off the premises. I did ask if it was because of what had happened to me but was told it wasn't and not to worry.

Kittikins I'm glad you spent some money on yourself. You deserve it. It is snowing here which is good as I fancy a restful day in the house. lol.

Well what a surprise work has decided to change my job again. New stuff comes into plan next week. Thank goodness for lovely tenant. He has almost been here for 6months and hasn't said anything about moving out so I am hoping he will sign the new tenancy agreement. I will be so happy.

I'm going to focus on keeping healthy when I am not at work. But I have just had a packet of crisps.:o Total spend today £1.10. I treated a student to a snack as she ran out of money at the tills and I was next in the queue. I only had a cup of tea. :rotfl:

One day left till the weekend. Total spend today £3.10 (which was tea and cake for people at work).

The clocks change at the weekend and it will be brighter - even at the current time days are lovely. :) Payday in just over a week. Yay.

Thank goodness it's the weekend. Work has been crackers this week. Anyway, I was feeling sorry for myself at how my face doesn't fit and one of my friends has just rung me to tell me after 9 months of being redundant he has been offered a job at a higher salary than when he worked. That has just reminded me that there is a time for everything and good things are always potentially just round the corner when you least expect it. Hurrah. Onwards and upwards people.
