I have woken up. I am trying to be positive. Susan and the boys have just rung me.
Susan's sister (who works in music) has managed to get us 4 VIP free tickets to the Victorious Festival on Saturday. We have also got two free tickets for my nieces- huge thanks to Mrs 3Dogs.:):) She saved us over £300. We will have to buy food when we are there though. That's the last meal I am eating out now.
The last time I went to a concert was over 12 years ago. I am hoping this will snap me out of this negativity. I am so grateful to my friends.
We are hoping to have haircuts on Thursday night too so we look good when we go.
Ive been watching Dave Ramsay and doing the maths.
My new salary will be £1300ish I think.
Bills will be 319 - I cant reduce these any more.
Mortgage will be 750
Money for food and saving £230
Right the decision has been made for me, no more spending on credit cards other than food and certainly no more ebay till I can find a way to supplement my income.
Next month will be a new me, Onwards and Upwards.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
Hooray for the survey, sounds like it's come at just the right time. Really glad you've got something fabulous to look forward to. Life can be really bleak at times
but it's good to hold on to the fun things, even when it all seems a bit much. I live not too far from Reading, but won't be going to the Festival, haven't been since I was dating someone who's brother was in a band and he got us backstage passes.......... wow, that was a very long time ago *sigh*

We had an amazing day, thank you so much Susan for arranging all of this. The atmosphere was lovely, Jake was great. All in all it was great. I forgot about work and everything and had fun.
I can't believe how chilled out i am now. It was so relaxing. VIP was lovely Susan even got tickets for my nieces who were wondering around having fun even though rather merry. We could access all areas and my wristband said 'artist'!!!!! The cost of the tickets for us was nearly £600. Thank you so much Susan and to your sister for arranging all of this. Thank you Jake Bugg you were great. I would never have been able to afford all this top class treatment ever.
My parents come today. It has been a lovely weekend and it has just started. Hooray to my new life.:j:money::D:):TAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Holy cow, that's an obscene pay cut
How the heck does your employer expect you to just suck that up?!?
Your festival sounds amazing, no idea who Jake Bugg is, but I am aware of his name. I'm only 46, but feel about 96 some times!!! KW and I were looking through a list of people playing at Reading, and I had heard of 5 of them, but him only 3, so I felt quietly superior0 -
Ive only heard of him as Susan's sister works with him. And we listen to his cds. I only know old music. lol.
Work don't care. I'm going to try to supplement it hopefully by trying to rent out a room.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
