£60 for doing a survey sounds fab - the best one I ever got years ago was for taking DD, aged about 5, in to a hall with a load of other parents and children, they got to eat different varieties of a particular cereal that was about to hit the shelves and I got £30
She loved it and every time we see it in the shops she wants it - she's now 12!!

Wow I wish someone would pay me to eat cereal. I rang Sky as my internet and phone package is due to expire soon- omg they are continuing my unlimited calls and unlimted internet and it will only be £19 a month for the next year. I am soooooooooo happy. :j
I have cleared out the left hand side of my garage as another shelving unit is being delivered tomorrow morning. I bought it at the beginning of the month when I thought I had cash. I am going to move garden stuff into it and hopefully some old work files too over the next two weeks. (One file every day so I don't do my back in). lol.
Susan is coming tonight and we are going to visit the boys in the New Forest for one last hurrah before the holiday ends.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

We had a great time, picking blackberries and going for a walk. Then we watched Absolutely Fabulous (the film) again and had such a laugh. Andy cooked a great meal for us with Blackberry and icecream. It was gorgeous. I am sooo happy. Nice memories for when I go back to work next week.
Susan is going for one day and will be back tomorrow. She is driving some of her friends round as they have come from overseas. Lots of socials seem to be planned which is good as it is so cheerful for her.
My bookcase thing arrived yesterday. It is soooo small. In total it cost me £25 and I am selling it for a fiver just to get rid of it quick. I hope someone buys it. I want a bigger shelving unit for my files. This has happened twice now. Items always seem to be the right size and rarely are because I never check the measurements. What a waste of £25 I could have done without.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I had blackberries and ice cream yesterday as well, soooo scrumptious! Boo to the bookcase, I've done that recently, bought a tiny book rather than one I could hold and read out to the class, so annoying (and a total waste of money, grrr).
Hope today brings more blackberries and delights!0 -
My trainers (my main shoes) have a hole in them so I ordered a new pair for £19.99 which I have charged to my credit card. I have made sandwiches for tomorrow and am going to have an early night. Night all.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

What a shame about the bookcase
I'm terrible at working out whether something is the right size, I generally get DH to get the tapemeasure out and show me exactly where in the wall or floor things will fit.

Work was awful. Nothing worked so we came home. I feel so down about everything there. I am hoping I snap out of it as even though I have a pay cut I have a job. But it is horrid.
To top it off, I had an email from the student agency saying that they didn't have any students as numbers were low. I am going to wait till after next week (when Susan and parents have left)and will advertise on Gumtree.
On the funnyside, one of my colleagues has had botox. I can't believe this sort of thing is catching on. I thought this sort of thing was just in America.
I am v fed up and down. Susan is on her way back and that will cheer me up. I have my survey tomorrow and hopefully I will have some money at last.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Sorry to hear you've had such a bad first day back at work SW. Its even worse going back when nothing works. Its a shame the bookcase isn't what you'd hoped. I hope you get some survey work to make up for it0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I did the survey this morning and I will be getting £60 v soon. Hurrah. I haven't slept well for days and had a terrible stress headache I couldn't shift. I am worried i have had this for days and can't afford to take any time off. I rang the dr's today on my day off and think I got a locum. When I went to see him he said I had to speak to a counsellor as he couldn't do anything. I thought he was useless. I will see if the headache is still here next week and ring again. Ive rung the counselling service and am waiting for them to contact me.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
