Hello 3dogs. It's good to see you posting. I'm just recovering from a night time hypo. All is well. I hope you are well. You must take it easy as I know Berry is vvv unwell. I'm looking forward to seeing you v soon.

If the necklace is only £5 I think that is fine to purchase. As long as you have money for the bills, house and food it's ok to spend some. I spent all my money when we went to Swanage so that's why I am not spending any more.

  • 3Dogs its so lovely that you have given these dogs a loving home. My niece adopted a dog from Cyprus which had been mistreated and kept in a dirty shed with chickens. Now he's terrified of feathers poor thing but he has come on a treat since living with her.

SW I hope you are feeling ok. x

Hello I am fine. I have ordered a Chinese - that's my last £12 spent! It never even tastes that nice. It's been raining too much to take dear doggie for a walk.

I did some ironing. The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow.

I'm tidying today to get rid of the dog hairs and do some last bits of ironing before I go back to work. Then a visit to the supermarket I have been living off the old contents in fridge for a week so I am v proud of myself.

Just realised I'm not in till Wednesday! Good news. I was invited to a car boot but I have no money so I am not going.

I have done nothing much to make much income this holiday. I need to think of something I can do to make it. So far my DBS check is still happening so I don't know when I will be taking students in. That plus the gas certificate cost me £130 cash from my holiday money! That's why I am so broke now. I'm just going to have to watch tv which is free to save money. I hope some students come soon and then I can make some money.

I hate being so poor. I am not allowed to buy anything apart from food for the rest of the month. I have 9 working days this month. Roll on payday. I have saved enough money to pay my credit card billwhich is good but I don't have much left over. So I am going to be good.

Right I am keeping a spending diary to find out where all my money goes. From now on I am only buying food on my credit card. Nothing else. I don't need anything.

It is gorgeous outside. I'm going to have a nap then I will do the grass.

  • A spending diary is a good idea SW, I keep a notebook and all my receipts for the month and mark them off as they come out of my bank account. I have stopped getting cash out and use my card otherwise cash just disappears from my purse. It makes me think more about what I am spending.
