That sounds like her problem, don't let her make it yours! You've been very generous for long enough.
Definitely see a solicitor, they'll give you far better advice than we ever could
(Just out of interest, Guest101, you seem very bitter in your attitude to a lot of women!)

To be fair though, if I'd have moved out of the house, I would stop paying all the bills as well, apart from half the mortgage, the rest would be down to her. That might concentrate her mind when she realises she cannot manage without his injection of 2k per month!!0 -

Not bitter at all, as not really been burnt. Im all for equality, i just am yet to see it.
In this instance Spouse A (male or female) provided more financially to the Marriage than Spouse B. Spouse B wishes to end the marriage, but rely on Spouse A to carry on the lifestyle? - If Spouse B was a bloke, i'd have written he instead of she, him instead of her, etc. The advice would be the same0 -
Sounds to me like she thinks you'll carry on being a mug. Unless she has found another one to carry the burden as she can't afford to keep the house.0
