Busy day today. Picked ds1 up from nannies and got both boys hairs cut. Then went to a very wet and soggy farm, which also had an indoor play area, with ds2's friend and then he came back for a play!

Cleaned the oven today. It wasn't too bad. I used some oven cleaning stuff from pound land (equivalent to oven pride with the bag) and I was really impressed. The racks have come up beautifully.

    Anyway, left to do....

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess

    Sweep floors
Wipe table replacing cloth if necessary..
    Clean out the fridge
Wash the vacuum cleaner innards and filters.. do not reassemble until completely dry!!

I always feel a bit guilty coming on here when I haven't been flying but anyway. JJ - hope your son is ok.

Paid stuff done until Wednesday. Finally got a break in the rain at 1pm so took the dogs for a quick walk. Finished work early when DH got home. All I've done since then is make dinner, washed up and painted my nails.

Now eating wine gums and wasting time on here. I probably won't pop in tomorrow as I have a rare day with DH and we are going to the seaside for fish and chips (it is national chip week after all).
Spend less now, work less later.
  • JJ hope your DS is alright, what a. Horrible thing to happen to him. Poor lad, I bet it's shaken you up as well.

Hope all are well, kitchen looks ok now I've given it a reasonable clean round then done some knitting and stitching

Spam me with your oven tips please. Mine is BAAAAAAADDD:eek::eek::eek:

So was mine when I became a Flylady. I tried to be good and use bicarb and vinegar and it didn't touch it. In the end I used an evil chemical which was absoltuely brilliant. I used 0v3n Mat3 which I'd had from Kl33n33z3 when a friend used to do it which had sat in the back of a cupboard for a decade before I tried it and wished I'd realised how easy it was much sooner. Lak3land also stocks it but you have to buy it with a whole load of other stuff which I didn't really want and that now sits in the back of the same cupboard. Ho hum.
    Better is good enough.

Hope DS is ok JJ :( I'd speak to the police too, chances are he is a little gobshyte who they have an eye on anyway. If it was an elderly person the media would be in uproar just because he is young does not make it acceptable. Also contact the parkies they will keep a closer watch.

Oven cleaning .. go on FB search 'oven cleaning' + the name of your town, call said company, arrange a date to hand over cash.. voila!

I have spent much of the evening asleep, and am now going to bed. I forcefed myself a can of soup with a little help from a pixie.. if I have a really bad night again tonight I will try to fit in the quack tomorrow. I think it is a kidney infection but I have no symptoms of uti so they may just be retaining fluid again.. they have only ever done this during pregnancy before.. I hope it doesn't become a regular event.

Done nothing.. bins have gone out tonight almost empty :( I had such plans :(
