Glad I helped with your decision Ionafan! Thanks to Natty's list and the rain, I have cleaned the hoover, it has two days to dry out now before I will be using it again, sorted out the baking cupboards, both ingredients and tins and flung 14 items today, and cleaned the tops of the cupboards.

Paid stuff now, I don't think I'll be tackling that list with quite the same enthusiasm.

Ok I've finished doing the cupboards, just have a pile of flasks, insulated cup things to sort and decide which to keep, we do use them but we don't need as many as we have. I probably could have been more ruthless in some areas and will definitely do it again in 6 months and see what has not been used in that time.

Going to put the WM on and hit the shower. Feeling much more positive than first thing this morning.

  • morning all! we've focused on the decluttering this weekend, so the house is littered with bin bags and piles for the chazzer and other destinations and no car to take it in today - so it will have to stay! Going to have a quick once over before some friends arrive to play.

Spam me with your oven tips please. Mine is BAAAAAAADDD:eek::eek::eek:

Sorted present box and removed lots for the CS
    Fed neighbour's cats
    stripped 2 beds

Cats have given kittens a good wash, all 4 on the kitchen sofa, good job I don't want to sit down.

Going to sort out all the flasks now and then wipe down the kitchen sides and do a meal plan/shopping list for the week.

    Bathroom Done!

I did the kitchen on Thursday, so will do the rooms in a different order probably this week.

DS2 is home. So is his laundry. But not apparently his passport - he's had to ask a friend to post it as we're off to France on Friday.

Still full of cold, but better.

The boiler stopped working over the weekend, but the heating engineer is coming tomorrow. Happily, it's not too cold at the moment.

Brilliant decluttering everyone, especially you dusty, you are doing brilliantly. I'm going down the shops as we are out of milk, then I'm going to make a start on the kitchen.

Fabulously sunny here. The sun reached the landing on Sunday for the first time and Devil Cat was in the spot instantly, washing.

    Tadpole snacking happening on paperwork.
    Better is good enough.
