Morning everyone - think I missed a day!
GWS vibes to those needing them. You all seem to be having a productive half term.
I too was an adult literacy tutor - but in the 70s!!!
When I worked at school as a specialist teacher assistant I would have loved one of your gifts Mrs M-P. My best memory is the end of year assembly (after which I left to take up a full time job) a young lady I had supported 1 to 1 in yr 6 won a prize for the most improved student - I was so very proud of her she worked so hard.
Have another shift at ch shop this afternoon - very busy one yesterday though the sale is off now.
Need to get some phone calls done and some cooking but not feeling bothered atm. Not sure how long it will be before my family member hears about job but the suspense is awful from here - not sure what it must be like there - I can only imagine and hope.
Need to do more clearing this weekend - hope the weather will be good enough to venture into the garage! if not the loft beckons aagh!
Have a good day everyone. xJuly 16 £95/£200

Morning all
Watched EE with DS2&3 yesterday because we felt we should after all the hype, the fact they have never seen it and I haven't in a decade made it a bit of a waste nof time but we had a laugh.
Today's entertainment:
[STRIKE]finish ironing
Clean shower room mirror
shopping list and trip to Mr L
Ring Mum
hoover and[/STRIKE] dust upstairs
[STRIKE]Wash DS3's bed blankets[/STRIKE]
check bank accounts
do my Gov agenda, policies etc etc
Finish hand sewing
Ask DH to oil DS3's bat
[STRIKE]Wash DS3 blazer[/STRIKE]
Look through options book with DS3 and fill in form
Decluttering will just be anything lying around in the boys rooms today but I'm pleased with what I did achieve this week especially the fact that most of it is out of the house. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
