    Kitchen Done!

Finally feeling better today, although not 100% just yet. Pretty fed up that I have been ill for almost all of half term.

Bright and sunny this mornng, although very chilly. I made a very quick trip into town to get a few bits and some euros for tomorrow as we are off to France for the day.

Sending good health wishes for pigpen and natty.

Love, hugs, sticks and stones for everyone who needs them.

Serena hope you enjoy France, being ill at half term sucks

Two sacks of stuff deposited at the scrap store
Large bag and box of stuff dropped at CS depot

DS3's cricket helmet returned and bat purchased.

Feels good to have got most of the stuff I have decluttered out of the house. Now what to do for dinner.

Hope you feel better soon pigpen.
I tend to wash my ornaments but none are that delicate or expensive.
Noticed 3folders of science mags that have been untouched outside Ds2s door next to the bookcase forever, once they are back at school they are being recycled, if I mentoin it they will suddenly start being read!

Everyone sounds busy and organised so well done all
I think I felt the worst I have all week spent morning sniffing and sneezing on sofa, then dragged myself down the shops and just pulled the dyson round and up the stairs, DS1 came home from work and blitzed his room and changed his bed so won't compliain at him. DS2 slept round a friends last night and got back mid afternoon. Up side of not feeling like doing much is I've finished the retirement pressie for the head who going in July. Just need to decide if to personalise it with his name school name and dares he was there or if I can blag a St of the school badges and see if I can get it framed with those mounted along the bottom edge. Any thoughts either waybill call that my half term challenge, trouble is I enjoyed stitching it so much I'm tempted to stitch another for a work friends birthday. It's the

    Evening all!

Went to meet my 92 year old great aunt for the first time yesterday evening and ended up spending 5 and a half hours chatting with her! Got home at 1 a.m.!!!! Consequently, today started rather later than I had planned!

Anyway, I have managed to sort some more of this dump, towels are washed and now drying, and a few bits and bobs of flying done. Also been to see Dad and he has said he would be ok seeing his aunt again for the first time in 60 years!

Mrs MP - I have a magnet with that saying on and I was very pleased to receive it. I'd love to stitch it so will have to look out for the pattern.

Hope all poorlies are feeling a little better xx

Considering I spent a great deal of time vacuuming, the place never looks any different..... Dunno why I said this really but I wanted to.

After another late night reading blooming forums, luckily I was able to have a lie-in as no students till 12. But I did manage to get outside and do some pruning before I set off for uni, so felt pretty pleased with myself.
Weather drizzly as I drove home, so dropped in at the gym for a quick swim. Well, short rather than quick. It's a good thing to do and feels like I'm getting some exercise, but have to say I find it boring. I just try and swim as fast as I can - well, not racing but not ambling - then get bored after about 10-15 mins; which was 20 lengths today. I noticed they had some swim-fit sheets by the side of the pool, laminated, which give you a program for about 20 days worth. It starts off with just a few lengths to warm up, then gives you progressively more strenuous and varied tasks like different strokes, legs only etc. Might be more inspiring.

Went up to stables with Mr N and we dragged out and hosed down 3 more rubber mats (yes perv time again); blimey they are heavy. Also inspected and re-folded about 15 horse rugs, put them in car and took to friend to take her pick. We're going to visit horse on Sat, and it is almost next to a horse rescue sanctuary so we will donate the rest of the rugs there. Reasonably cheerful. Last time I went to donate rugs was after my horse died; I walked up to the lady at reception, said "I sent an email about some rugs" and promptly burst into tears. I don't mean to; it just happens.
Dropped in to GP on way home to collect Mr N's latest blood results to take to the consultant tomorrow and yippee he's now within the normal range for the first time since Dec 9th :j so no longer above average risk to have a stroke.

Made a sausage pasta bake for tea, which I have to say was pretty yummy, then slobbed in front of TV.

    Tomorrow it's consultant at 10am,

Well another busy day here, which started off with a trip to A and E. Yesterday, my three year old darling jumped off a 5 foot lclimbing frame (on purpose)! Thus morning he was still struggling to walk on it, so thought I'd better check he hadn't done anything serious! Was really impressed, we were there just over half an hour. No wait at all. And after 4 x Rays were told there was no break and it was ligament damage. Told to rest it as much as possible. Decided to still go our shopping day. We went to a big shopping centre nearly two hours away, which meant he rested it in the car and then in the pushchair. Although he kept trying to walk in it and had a very cute limp.

So.... Has he learnt his lesson? We are back in the house 10 minutes and I caught him trying to jump off the back of the sofa. My eldest was never like this!

Anyway, gave the kitchen a quick tidy up, did an hour of the paid stuff and put some washing on. But that's it. Haven't even looked at the lists!

I always think I will get more done in half term but whenever everyone is off work/school things don't seem to work out that way!
