Just need to finish dusting the LR then it's done. I've done one lot of washing up and wiped the visible worktops and the cupboard fronts. I have some paperwork I need to do and some bin bags of DD's clothes to sort out. Next job WM though I think.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

hello all - have had a non-existent week flying wise I'm afraid. I've had a tummy virus thing that hasn't quite peaked enough to warrant being off work, but Ive been tired and feeling unwell
tuesday night I was teaching and had my ultimate nightmare disaster. Wrong venue  Had I not told the clients the wrong venue too I might have got away with it -a s it was I had to drag 8 pregnant women and their other halves from one place to another. Luckily we only started 15 mins late, but it left me soon frazzled and stressed. DH was in charge of the kids wed and thurs and the house was left a proper bombsite. he did nothing - literally - not even putting the breakfast things in the dw  I lost it a bit yesterday with him and I still don't think he saw the issue. As it meant that actually I had to spend most of friday with the kids picking up the house and getting milk etc.
on the plus side the decluttering is showing rewards now. Bin bags and bin bags full of baby and maternity clothes have gone to women's aid, and all of DHs bin bags of carp have gone to the cs.
onwards and upwards next week though!0 -
I have cleaned the car (then it rained, sleeted, snowed for about a minute, got bright again, rained again...) and spent a good hour in the garden on a slash-and-remove exercise. I discovered the 'tiny' hebe has, actually, got VERY big but tucked itself in the (short) leylandii hedge between mine and next doors dive (they are higher up than me, so they have the hedge then a slope down to my drive, which is planted with loads of stuff inc snowdrops and cyclamen) so THAT'S been hacked down. Hydrangea (grown from my grandad's own hydrangea) now dead headed.

Elastic well done on getting it all out of the loft, don't let any of it go back up there! Can't face dealing with ours atm. It is organised up there, I could get something if I needed it but it is the stuff I do't need that is the problem!
All bedrooms dusted so upstairs is all clean and tidy. I need to do a sort and declutter in our bedroom but it is all stuff which is in the wardrobe, drawers etc so looks tidy. I'll get the boys to sort their rooms in the Easter holidays.
DH is watching DS3 and his friends at swimming so I have another hour before they are back and we take them for a pizza tea. Think I'll make a cuppa, have 15 with a magazine and then just do the mending. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
