Bossy lovely to hear of you out and about having a good time.

Started my Gov stuff, got distracted by DH's offer to help cut a couple of huge branches off a massive shrub/tree - I'm trying to keep myself at the pc and not go up and cut up said branches which are now on the lawn.

HB Posivibes flying over for Mrs Dog.
Bossy - great that you've had a social life.

So have I!! On days not doing paid stuff, I have been having fun with DH who has been on a week's holiday. So flying wise only the dailies have been getting done, well some of them....but I have still been decluttering at least one item a day - DH seems on board with this now too and is helping to find things.

This week I have been skipping at the seaside, and today I was in CY's neck of the woods for a battlefield walk, flipping freezing now though despite a big bowl of soup.

Not sure what I'll be doing with the rest of the afternoon. Lamb is in the oven for later, and I might make a batch of apple pies. One thing is for sure, the dogs will NOT be getting a second walk in this appalling weather.

Hope everyone is having a great afternoon.

HB positive vibes for Mrs Dog.

Gov paperwork/data is taking much longer than anticipated but I have made a start which is often the hardest part.

    Gammon cooking for dinner
DH has done DS3's cricket run

Pouring with rain here so I'm not being tempted by the garden.

I need to ring my mother next and text my sister before I start the next data round.

I ended up making apple turnovers and had some leftover stewed apple which I'll freeze for now. Think I'll finally do some of my shredding now.

  • DHs accounts are up to date and considering I didnt want to do them I am quite pleased!

Bossy you go girl. Got to let your hair down once in a while.

DS looks awful. He just seems to be constantly ill at the moment. How did I breed such unhealthy children? Think OH and I have defective genes.

Right, bit more paperwork to file. Pizza dough in bm for tea, need to make a shopping list for tomorrow. More tea first.

Thank you for your supportive vibes for Mrs Dog.

She seems to be coping with the drug this time around, and I've spent an hour with the Bissell tackling what needed to be done and various bits of carpet that were looking a bit tired, mainly high traffic areas. Needs must and when the thing is out I may just as well start working my way around the bits that need attention, although I would prefer to wait until it isn't tipping down.

I'm really, really glad I had a major go at stain treatments all over the place two or three weeks ago. It made an hour's hard work just that - only an hour. They've come up rather well, all things considered.

Now to jump into the shower and then we're off to see Into the Woods. I've got a lamb curry popping away in the slow cooker for when we come back, because it was much fattier than I expected when I dragged the whoopsied lamb out of the freezer. It'll be interesting to see how that turns out. It's the first time I've used it for a recipe-type meal - normally I just make yoghurt in it.
    Better is good enough.

Bathroom Done! As usual, this morning.
Livingroom, hall, cloakroom Done yesterday when I had in unexpected burst of energy.

I have managed to finish planning and resourcing lessons for this week. Sunday lunch was cooked and enjoyed, then DD and I went into town - not having realised just how cold and windy it was - a very quick trip! At least I got some fresh air and exercise!

Have a good start to the week everyone, will be back flying Thursday.
