And just for the record, no, none of the above!
No I don't stop in a YBJ, I just normally don't let the cars I listed out as the owners very very rarely say thanks. If I find this I assume other drivers have and also don't let them out.
Although ironic you accuse me of judging you when your post judges me...0 -

After judging all drivers of those cars.. "they rarely say thanks".
Maybe the drivers of 'those cars' don't like the drivers of 'your car'.
"They very rarely let me out".0 -
People who sit at 38mph in a 60 with a string of traffic behind them, and then continue to do 38mph in a 30.
People who dont know how to mirror, indicate, manoeuvre. Far too many people BRAKE then eventually indicate, leaving you in that snapshot of time not knowing if they're stopping, about to turn left or about to turn right.
People who can only drive at 30mph round even seemingly mild corners but then when theres a straight where you could over take them, take off like Colin McCrae, only to be down to 30mph for the next twisty bit.0 -

In particular, I hate those who see you coming towards them, hesitate..and then still pull out of a junction. They will then continue to travel at -25mph. This causes me to brake...and those (if any) behind me to brake.
Could they not wait a few more seconds for a safe opportunity?
One of my pet hates too. And they usually glare at you through their rear view mirror like you're the one whos done wrong, when their time and energy would be better spent accelerating up to the speed of the traffic conditions around them.0 -
People who think Audi drivers or BMW drivers or whatever drivers are inconsiderate or crap drivers when in reality, !!!!!! heads drive all sorts of cars.0

Why can't these people abide by a simple rule!?
Many people don't know how to use box junctions.

Box junctions. These have criss-cross yellow lines painted on the road (see ‘Road markings’). You MUST NOT enter the box until your exit road or lane is clear. However, you may enter the box and wait when you want to turn right, and are only stopped from doing so by oncoming traffic, or by other vehicles waiting to turn right. At signalled roundabouts you MUST NOT enter the box unless you can cross over it completely without stopping.
Law TSRGD regs 10(1) & 29(2).....0 -

You're right. I suppose we could vent all day :rotfl:
I did mean the type of 'keep clear box' that is positioned at the point of a junction though. Where backed up traffic must not block the junction to their left, as to allow traffic wanting to cross them to turn right.0 -

My thoughts exactly. Fair enough if they can pull out quick enough to prevent me from having to slam hard on my brakes. But it's always the ones who can't seem to pick up speed in enough time.0 -

I let people out all day long, it's not difficult to adjust your speed to give them time to get out especially if the traffic lights are red.
As I said I rarely let them out of side roads simply as I find they don't say thanks. Whether they like my car or not is irrelevant to me as to whether someone is to ignorant to acknowledge someone else taking the time and forethought to assist them.
I don't have a problem getting out of junctions due to a combination of karma, confidence, experience and smiling at other people.0 -

Keep clear boxes are not compulsory0
