eBay total £50.42!! Very happy with that but have a massive 22 item trip to the post office
Luckily I'm off Tuesday/ Wednesday :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
This is a job and a half... I will split it in 4 batches I think that would be manageable, make the items that went for more money a priority and the rest a bit later! I think maybe post some on Thursday lunch time as well, the 0.99p ones as surely they can't complain for a little bit of a longer wait
Phewwww.. And the £50 will go towards our shopping trip tomorrow0 -

I know right haha :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have to do it in batches! Last time I had 9 items and it was bad enough! The plan is send the items that made the most money tomorrow morning, then a few more in the afternoon. Then Wednesday and Thursday, leaving the ones that went for 0.99p to last. I recon I will take 4 trips at least haha :rotfl:
I had to be so careful packing them up, so not to mix the items up  I'm joking to the kids that I got new job as a postman ... But... £50 I'm happy and hopefully I haven't undercharged the postage this time :eek:0 -
Shopping day is over
It was a lovely day but  at how much we spent! Well we did get hubby a new suit and shirt and tie, last suit we bought him years ago.. So I'm confident this will last him awhile! It's the nicest quality suit he has had to date.. from M&S so not hugely expensive but expensive to usand it's gorgeous and he's under strict instructions not to put or lose weight :rotfl:
Also we bought a suit for DS we were just going to buy him a shirt and shoes but he looked so adorable in the full suit argh! It's the same colour as hubbys and they look so dapper! I wish I could post some pics but hubby and son won't appreciate having their pictures on the Internet haha..
Then shoes for both DD and DS! All I can say is thank god me and DD are reusing our dresses and im hopeful to sell DSs suit once he out grows it!
Well the £50 of the ebay money will go towards it and I will really try to have an otherwise very MSE month.0 -
Are there different post offices you could visit?! Wouldn't want you to get bad feedback.. I hate doing fleabay (the last time I sold a waistcoat of DDs, got proof of purchase etc, and the buyer said it never arrived. 3bay refunded her without even asking me for proof
)

Thats the Eb*y way I'm afraid............and unscrupulous buyers use it to their advantage. Even with proof of purchase you will find it goes against seller if INR. Only way is signed for post and that is what I do nowBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Luckily I had no trouble with ebay so far, apart from something I bought! I really should report it or something... I did contact the seller and thought they would offer a refund but they were insistent the rip wasn't there when they posted!. Hmmmm... Yeah!
If there's any trouble from my sales I will refund straight away and try to claim from the post office..but that's not to say the buyer wouldn't report me instead of contacting me! I will let you know if I get any trouble..
Well I have been to the post office, took my little boy with me on a little walk, he's been a great help at the post office bless him!
There was a massive que and I said at the counter that I will come back as I have too many things to post, but the man kept saying don't worry, it be like it all day and to just post it all! Phewwwwww all done!
I'm a bit frazzled though... And fed up of ebay haha.. And I have a further 30 items listed
The reason I listed and relisted because I got an offer of free insertion and 75% off final value fee on Sunday .. So had to really *sigh*0 -
Couple of recent MSE things I did
I have got tesco vouchers through so have doubled them up through boost, had 30 and turned it to 60! Then I used these vouchers to get birthday presents for my DS, I have paid just £3 for over £60 worth of stuff and he has 6 very good presents so far:beer: :money:
These are now safely stashed away until his birthday, still a few months to go but its good to be prepared! And he wont need much more, maybe one more "main" present (and more about that later...)
I will do the same with my vouchers in november (and they will be doubled up for christmas presents).
The only issue about DS upcoming birthday is that he is desparate for a hamster or a gerbil for his birthday and Im unsure about it! He literally keeps going on about it and how he will play with it etc.. My daughter had both a hamster and a gerbil and to be honest I am so over having those in the house argh... (they both passed away now and she was about his age when she got a hamster). so in my mind I feel its unfair that she has had an opportunity to own "her own" pet and my son now wants the same but Im reluctant!
But i really really dont want a smelly little thing in my house again, and I am fully aware that it will be me looking after it lol.. Will let you know what i decide... If i do I will get a rescue/ one from gumtree which is slightly older(like i did with daughters gerbils)
He is very good with guinea pigs may i add, and is a caring sweet boy so I dont know... a dilemma...
Another MSE thing Im doing - just got a house insurance through and its £28 a month - I am determined to get a better deal for it and want to pay it in full
An update on small pet situation! Me and hubby were thinking and decided to let him have a pet all of his own. They only kids for such a short time and I remember desperately wanting a hamster which my mum never got (don't blame her lol) and they can learn so much from the pets plus the small critters don't live that long
So I started looking on gumtree for gerbils to be rehomed, he wanted a tan one and a black one, I wanted girls (smell less) and I wanted a big Gerbilarium cage and had to be close enough for pick up.... So quite a few criteria haha! Imagine my surprise when I saw exact ones yesterday morning, two 6 months old girls for £15 all in including big Gerbilarium!
It still couple of months to his birthday but I reckoned I won't get so lucky again, so we got them! DS is so thrilled and very happy with them, I seem to be taken with them too which is good as I know realistically I will provide most of the care lol
So currently we are sitting in the bathroom with two gerbils running around while we getting them used to be handled!
Will post some pics in a bit
Btw they are called Harry Kane and Oscar Brown (DS thinks they boys lol) Xx0 -
