Found you! *stalks*
Fab new diaries popping up all over the place! And so lovely to see you're off on holibobs - excellent work on that there 'getting a life' objective.
Fascinated by the YNAB approach - can't wait to see how you find it in comparison to your previous approach.

Ha ha Sam - the word humping is one of those words that makes me laugh childishly!!!
It's lovely hear you're finding some inspiration. Keeping up with your diary is doing me good too. x
Hello Nora. I'm so happy you found me. I'm really getting up to date on the YNAB approach. I'm already working on thinking of accounts and money as categories, but it's definitely a learning curve.x0 -
I returned the clothes last night, which, thanks to a lovely woman on the tills, was a very painless process.
Due to my journey home taking SO much longer than normal I didn't get the chance to do much else. By the time I'd been to the shops and home again it was almost 10pm so I took myself off to bed and then struggled to get up this morning when my alarm went off at 5am.
On the bright side, my work alarm is now switched off for almost 3 weeks!
I still can't check in online yet. That opens tomorrow at 9am, but my seat is reserved so I'm not fretting.
All accounts looking happy, which makes me happy!
What happened to the beautiful blue skies we've had the past few days? Come back....0 -

They've nipped over to the UAE to prepare themselves for your arrival.
It's ok *sighs dramatically* we're used to the grey...0 -
Oh aren't we just used to the grey here Nora. Although we did have a lovely summer last year and have been fairly fortunate with our winter so far so I shouldn't grumble! I just love doing it!0

I've been carrying my passport around for a few weeks and a few days ago innocently popped it into a work drawer to save "lugging" it around. Luckily I needed to look in that drawer today and did a loud intake of breath type gasp! Dozy dozy woman!
It's now safely in my bag, which I've checked 4 times just to be absolutely certain as now I've become paranoid about it!
While I'm away it'll be my birthday _party_ (I just like copying Nora) and demands yesterday were that I brought my cakes in pre my time off rather than afterwards! So I did spend a little on those (sale items, but all nice ones). Other than that, nothing needed.
Tonight's tedious tasks are:
* Wash all my work attire so that I don't have to faff about with it when I'm jetlagged.
* Get suitcase and hand luggage bags out and ready to be filled.
* Maybe start filling them or at least crowd the area around the bag and case with things I think I'll take!
* Remember that holiday trip constant mentions are boring to others and stop going on about it!!!!
In other news - I've not done much. Work went well. I love and hate the last day before time off. I love the rushing around and contacting people and just making sure things are completed and everyone is notified as much as possible but I also hate that mad dash too. I think it's the stress of making sure you remember everything. I 'm organised, I write lists, but I also put essential requirements into a safe work drawer and forget I've done it!!!!!!!:o
10 minutes before I leave so need to shut down my machine (I rarely switch my machine off) and check I've got everything I need. Also need to put the cakes away and decide if I'll take any home with me! Ha ha - of course I will.
Cake anyone?0 -

Now, for the record:
Firstly - sharing the bill is perfectly acceptable. Unless he's been an idiot and you've hated the evening....
Secondly - well, did he?!!
Thirdly - wait?!! Not where there's twitterpation involved...
And I'm not scary! Not much *whistles innocently* :A
Poor MT, she's going to come back and discover we've sullied her diary!
