If if didn't have debts and my son wasn't in nursery I'd be able to save an extra £600 per month. We'll get there one day!! As it is, at the moment, we save between £20 and £50 per month at the moment, but very rarely have extra expenses crop up as I budget all annual spends throughout the year. If we need new tires, they're in the car pot, Money gets put away each month for Christmas, etc.

It's our own fault for the spending in the first place, though I'm pleased to say that it's been almost 2 years since we last added debts to our cards!

    Starting Debt: £5,250
    Current Debt: £4,995.50
Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%
    Emergency Fund: £350

I have a fixed income of £250/month from a pension drawdown that I started when I decided that fulltime working was not for me, I live well within my means but I can't save anything from that.
I have no mortgage/rent but I do have to dip into my savings for the likes of holidays and car maintenance.

    I earn about £1400 a month.
    Rent: £262.50
    Travel: £60
    Gas and electricity: £50
    Council tax: £50
    Groceries: £100
    Phone: £40
    Internet: £20

I still feel like I have no money. I don't know where it all goes which is shameful really. I didn't think I was in a position to save £50+ a month, but seeing all your savings goals makes me realise otherwise. 😞
