!!!!!! calm yourself down, any fines in court are means tested.
If you get a nip, they'll ask you to name the driver. If you don't sign it in Scotland they'll have no evidence of who was driving. So worry about that if and when it happens.0 -
Spicey, I know I'm over the hill n far away with my worry here, it's the way I am unfortunately, everything's worst case scenario until proved otherwise!0

Mmcg I would stop googling this before you give yourself a panic attack. Realistically if your speedo said 80mph you would probably be doing ~75 max, which in all likelihood won't get you a fine. If they fined everyone who went past a camera/average speed camera at this speed the system wouldn't take long to go into meltdown.
If the speed limit was lowered surly you would have been travelling MUCH faster than the traffic and this would become obvious, correct? I would stop worrying, if you get 4 separate fines you would be very unlucky0 -

I believe that's only the case if the entire journey was subject to the same speed limit, which seems unlikely.0 -

That's no longer the case, at least in England.0 -
Car 54, don't know about England, but I haven't heard anything here. If it had changed you can be sure the Seps would be telling everyone that it was a brilliant idea they had.0

It's here, whether it's on a motorway near you is another matter.
