'Blame' is all a bit unnecessary, isn't it? I don't doubt it's frustrating for the OP to feel that her relationship is under scrutiny, I'm just pointing out that she's pretty quick to slag off a mate of ten year's standing now that she's copped off.
She is, I assume, happy. She's got the fella, the spreadsheets, the weekly shag night; Lucy's just got the remnants of a long-standing friendship and a few tattered wisps of non-implemented written plans shoved down the side of the sofa. Perhaps the OP could trying being a bit more magnanimous instead of moaning about her mate on the internet.
Forget it hun.
I'm not having a go, at you or anyone, sorry if I came across that way. I was just putting a different scenario across.
Ultimately, if it IS a real issue, (and if the OP is genuine,) then only the OP knows if this Lucy is an interfering b1tch, or if it is the OP herself who is possessive.

Plus Lucy might be quite chilled about the household chores and whatnot whereas he knows he's going to be saddled with a roster the size of Belgium if he moves in with the OP.
Ah, didn't realise this was just 4 months. I'd assumed it was a few years.0 -
Theres absolutely no basis or evidence (apart from spreadsheets) for making such a wild assumption whatsoever but I suspect they are both in non-jobs anyway, with titles along the lines of corporate gain analyser human resource PR data communicator and such like.
I bet Lucy works in a shop and is well liked by the customers.I can offer no resistance, I can offer no respite

I hope the OP comes back soon, although I suspect she's a bit busy right now sprucing herself up. Date night tonight! (Schedules permitting)."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

This is so true, 80% of my classmates from uni have ridiculous titles, I still have no idea what most of them do...0 -
Thanks everyone for your advice, you've given me some things to think about. I've had a bit of a chat with Lucy and I'm sure we'll be able to move on and still be friends. Just as a side note, as it's been mentioned a few times, there never was a spreadsheet or written plan.0
