Kettle and toaster bought and a knife set in a block and copping board and a toy for DS came to £103 then i got a £10 voucher back

I am very pleased as i nearly payed 100 for just the toaster and kettle a few weeks back
Put in 2 checks today

Solicitor sent me £28
I will be making a over payment towards the end of next week once these have cleared and after the normal payment has come out keep it ticking over

(i know there is no rush but just always something)
I guess least the floors will be done is the main thing
Looks great tho :]
Is the trim in yet or do you have to wait a few weeks for it?
Have you done the floor roll yet? I was so excited when the first floor upstairs was finished that I actually had a little lie down on it and then rolled about in happiness...good thing the guy who did it is my friend and already knows I am a nutter!!! hehe.
Good find on those table and chairs. I actually had a look on Gumtree for a sofa last night. Found a nice little one for £75 quid, just need something to tide me over xmas and then I'll look in the sales for 'The One'. I'm going to go view it on Sunday to see if it's in as good a condition as they say, fingers crossed.MFW Start:[STRIKE] Sep 2014 - £110,844[/STRIKE], July 2019 New Home £190,995

3x 3 seaters came in at £1100 with a £50 discount wich i will OP :]
I took them out on interest free £30 a month for 3 years can pay off in full with no charges and payments don't start till march next year
3 weeks for delivery tho
By doing this lightens the load as im paying out so much currently
Anyway Finical update is needed so here goes
House fund now is now gone after buying the table and chairs even tho the house fund was never for furniture :]
EF Still strong at 17k :]
I will be spending some of this on furnishing the house I'm hoping under 2k So i still have 15k in EF :] Thats the plan anywayMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

So i sat down last night and have given myself a budget of £2000 for furniture i
need
Technically i have 3 weeks before the sofas come so ill be looking at getting everything in within the next 2 weeks so need to order then this weekend really
This will leave me with 15k in the EF then i can finally start saving agine
This 15k will be spread over a few accounts 13k will be staying super safe in current accounts with interest rate of 4% or so
Ill then slowly put 1-2k into p2p lending currently £400 in there with a rate of 7.5% after fees (as long as i get over 5% ill be happy)
Any interest gained on money saved will be over payed every month :]Mortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800
