Savings are looking good lucky.Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535
Retirement Planning
Starting Position (Jan 2024) : Pension 1-£165,000/Pension 2-£50,000/Pension 3-£9,500/ISA-£87,000/Total-£311,5000 -
You could transfer your ISA to a better paying one - I've got a 1.61% Cash ISA with Post Office - just £600 odd sitting there, but it's double what you're getting at the moment on a fair chunk of money.
Once I get architects bill, what's left in my measly 0.75% Lloyds account which is currently £3,250 (Reg Saver finished then converted) will get split to ISA and likely FC.
It is nice and easy to move between accounts at the same bank though - guess they depend on our inertia in their own money making
Ya the plan is to move it all around now once iv stopped on the house so next month i can sit down and open accounts with an amount i know i can put away :]
Ya FC is defiantly worth giving a go im looking long term for FC myself 5-10 years really and keep it ticking along hopefully we can do well out of it :]
Start it up now youll love it :money:
Fire thank you very much :] life is a lot more relaxed with savings i have to say
Iv put 4 items on ebay if the 2 bigger items sell i should be getting £180+ which will help greatly :]
No wins on the PB this month either first time in 4-5 months i haven't won anything grrrr just when im ready to OP hahaMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

I am finally up to date with your diary again. Well done on all your savings. Has spurred me into action to check out interest rates again. Have just opened a FD regular saver at 6% (we already banked with them), but needed to sort out a better rate for instant access. The Post Office ISA looks good too. Won £10 today in a local hospice lottery, so a nice little bonusStarting Mortgage 01.08.08 £171,209.24. I love the excitement you get making an OPMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
