    Howdy!

Must read back tonight, I'm waaaay behind!

Just had a hhc in which I:
Emptied DW and put lunch bits in
Washed stuff that doesn't go in DW
Wiped down kitchen window, sill and back door
    De-webbed kitchen
    Emptied recycling
    Cleared counters and wiped down
    Wiped over hob
    Vacced kitchen, LR and hall
Hung some bedding up to dry in airing cupboard

Going to get the littlies now - think we'll walk as it's still light :T

Jacket spuds for tea, done in oven, mmm. Bet DS will want pasta ;) cheese and ham salad to go with them.

    Right, off I go!

    bathroom Done on Sunday, happily.

Much better day at work today, and satisfyingly, two badly behaved students both turned up for detention. They were a little surprised I made them do work. Apparently they just sit there in silence in other detentions. I pointed out they were kept behind because they had NOT done the work in lesson. Fingers crossed for an improvement tomorrow!
Lovely last lesson, as my colleague bravely made pancakes for the Year 8 class - 30 of them! They were very appreciative, and also did some great work on pancake day in France.

Dusty I am hoping that things soon start improving for your mother, she's having such a rough time of it.

I'm a bit of pro at this so shout if I can help in anyway. Unrelated but maybe heading near you on Sunday, Tebworth in your direction? I'll wave.

Frizzle, I'd change agents, they can't be that bothered about selling your place.

...and my brain is dead - oh a spark - well done HB on your curtain triumph.

Went to Mum's got the stuff she needed, took it to the hospital. Spoke to Sis on the phone, she obviously is not coping with any of this at all. Ho hum.

Old WM should be collected in 15 by somebod off freecycle. I've got 45 minutes now to be productive in before cricket but 10 minutes digesting is in order.

Serena glad today was better than yesterday.

I will do the rest tomorrow then get them over to the external drive. Meantime, I need sleep!

Have you tried a warm water gargle with a little TCP - might help as I used to get it all the time. Chemist might be able to give you some pastilles which are a little anaesthetic ;)

TSB have a current account which pays 5% if you put in £500 a month and Santandy have a current account which charges a monthly fee but pays interest according to balance and pays cashback on most outgoings ;)

In my flinging this morning, I gave to charity some books which I will never read again. In one was a piece of paper keeping a page for me. When checking it was the fixtures list for a team I used to play for for 2006/7 which means that not only did I have no intention of reading the book then, but I still brought it with me when we moved nearly 8 years ago and put it on a shelf here.

    And I thought I'd downsized.

Ironing and shredding for me in the morning. Unusually I don't feel tired tonight, I'm usually in bed at 10pm and up at 6am.
Spend less now, work less later.

A chill out night in front of the tv tonight.

Dusty- I am going to see what they say when (if?) they call tomorrow. She says she will ring but I wonder if she will actually do it! Then going to look for other alternatives. It does make me cross. They get so much money and I'm not sure what they actually do. As far as I can tell- stick it in right move and see what happens!

    Anyway, list for tomorrow...

    Advertise some things for selling

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Remove any cobwebs from the ceiling/ontop of units

Tuesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Hoover and wash the floors
    Do some filing or shreeding
Remove everything from the bathroom cabinet, wipe inside, sort and replace the contents
Half term next week (at least in the south) do you need to make appointments/plans?

Not bad! Will try and get this done tomorrow afternoon in between finishing work and the school run!
