Back from walking, was hoping to find my GUAG along the way but no joy.

Mum text, she is no better, a bit worse so more drips and longer to stay in.

Just going to move some money about whilst I finish my cuppa and then I must hoover and mop and give the gap where the WM was a good clean before my new one comes.

Hi - I did it! - bit of clothes shuffling and an extra hour at ch shop before weigh in to keep my mind off eating - but my target is now 7lb lighter and I am at it!

I am celebrating currently by eating a packet of biscuits - - not a regular thing I hasten to add and only a small packet!!!:o
Then going to declutter two large coffees and get on.

    Double HHC at 1pm anyone?

Valli I'd love to come for breakfast as I adore marmalade. My peculiar " like" is jac*bs cream crackers spread with lovely butter then marmalade. I am drooling at the thought but it just isn't going to happen!!

Pigpen please go to the drs if it is so bad.

I've threaded buttons on the ends of the ruffelette tape strings so that I never have to go through the untying of knots again on the bedroom curtains while worrying about the strings unthreading themselves. They're in the washing machine now and when they're rehung I'm going to take the gratefully received advice and shorten them by pulling the strings up in the middle.

I wish I'd done this years ago, when each pair was first hung. As each pair comes down this year to be washed I'm going to work my way through all of them, buttoning the strings. I've got hundreds of the little things in the mending box and it's great to have found a real use for them!
    Better is good enough.

Minimal Flying today; Mr LW wants to see "Jupiter Ascending" at the cinema, so we're going tonight, as it's slightly less expensive on a Tuesday.

Just been to MK for some fuses (none to be bought around here, :( ) and other 'stuff' I needed over there, plus filled up with petrol at 104.9p 3p cheaper than around here, so as I was there I filled up.

    Sorted out stuff

Looked at money and shuffled again, % interest rate are c..p, it seems our esteemed leader reckons these current accounts some banks do, give up to 4% interest on the balances, so off to read about them and what you have to do to qualify, may be worth moving my monthly salary into one of them............

I spoke to someone who has just started there this week who said she will ring around everyone this afternoon! Isn't that something they should be doing anyone! No wonder we have had no viewings! So fingers crossed we hear something soon!
