Valli that is a lot 36, do you have room to store them?? :)
They are going back in the cupboard on the jam jar shelf, exactly where they came from. Some shall be given away though.
Valli - I need to make blackcurrant jam from frozen berries, do I need to defrost first and do I weigh as usual even though frozen.

I would weigh them frozen and take it from there. It's one of my favourite jams to make! One year I only had enough berries for 2 jars:o

    Have now cleaned bathroom.
DS's bed remade with clean line-dried bedding *insert sweet-smelling smily;)*
washing brought in from line almost dry so now finishing off on the airer - towels! (woot)

Have also got round to a round-tuit job; my make up mirror has had its stand properly tightened with a screwdriver.

Lunch today was whoopsied pizza (a little one) 19p plus salad which was (say) a quarter of whoopsied lettuce and some whoopsied tomatoes and full price cucumber.
tea was one of the whoospied fish fillets I bought yesterday with the last of the chips and home grown, frozen runner beans:money:

Dailies done and living room and stairs hoovered and dusted.

Plug in bathroom sink not working properly so that's getting sorted this week. Did the bathroom yesterday.

Shopping done and had to pop out this afternoon to pick a parcel up.

Dusty Its really hard having to do it on your own. Fingers crossed your sister does help. Hugs for you and healing vibes for you Mum.

Dusty hope your sister pitches in soon, it's really hard looking after someone on your own. My father has dementia and again only me looking after him. Its hard and utterly exhausting. Sending lots of healing and restful thoughts to you all x

    36 jars !!! That's a heck of a lot, well done though!

OH just came home with a chippy tea, naughty I know, but much needed.

Finally did as much of the kitchen as I could. Used new toy to mop up. It's one of these twist mops so you need a bucket. First time ever I was able to clean behind the toilets without putting my back out. Then did kitchen too :)

Going to my mates tonight , lives two minutes walk away. So will go and play her two cats, have a cuppa, then come back and play with my six kitties.
  • Hi all

Dusty - thinking of you and hope d sis helps.

Is Mum mobile as it's not long since her op? There should have been an opportunity for her to go into a rehabilitation unit before going home while she recovered fully.

Only managed to wipe down the paintwork in one room, but did manage to start and finish another baby hat!!!

Weigh in tomorrow and then I have to get a move on.

    Take care everyone. x

I did a lot more than I intended or than was on my list, but it was enough for me to feel very happy that the bedroom won't need a lot more than a lick and a promise for a while. The nets are down and soaking overnight and the curtains will get washed tomorrow.

The shoes are out of the cupboard and I'll have a Cinderella session later in the week to see if there is any point in keeping any of them. I doubt it.
    Better is good enough.
  • Feel as though I've achieved a lot, but at the same time I don't feel as though I have, must be frame of mind!
