    I've hoovered the kitchen floor
    tidied the kitchen
    Washed some woolies
    Washing some towels.

The kittens have learnt to climb the trees in the garden which is providing both them and me with lots of entertainment. I'm catching up with some hand sewing whilst watching them.

Oh dear, I don't think much Flying is going to happen in the coming week; it's totally wiping me out looking after Button. That said, she's completely worth it, such a very joyful dog, with a lovely nature.

What a lovely day. Put my wellies on and had a great walk through muddy farmers fields and tracks with the dogs. This is their only walk today though. Having just washed all the floors in the house by hand, I am now exhausted so am just going to chill out until DH gets home in about an hour.

All jobs today done except shredding.

Glad you are enjoying Button, LW.

    Catch you all later.

Just discovered some tinsel peeking out from under the sofa. Obviously my house is not as clean as I'd like. Can that be my declutter item for today?

Mind you, it is in keeping with having Christmas dinner today!!

Pleased I'm not the only snowdrop fan. I managed, after much effort and failed attempts, to get a bunch to grow in my garden.

thanks to you and Dusty, I'll try that next time.
We've got quite a lot of snowdrops in our garden, mainly under trees and shrubs. They have spread quite well - but we have been in the same house for over 20 yrs!

have finally submitted the annual report to the charity commission, for the PTA. Mind you it was still 104 days early - we run our year to tally with the school year, which makes sense (to me, anyway).

Cat trays washed out and bunny hutch cleaned.

It feels like Easter is a long, long way away and I have nothing planned to look forward to (sighs deeply).

I have made a bread-and-butter pudding with a whoopsied Apple and Sultana loaf from M&S, and bartered eggs:money:

I am just so exhausted.. I REALLY was hoping to get this hovel in order over half term but I can barely walk due to back pain, I'm not even sure where its from as I never get back pain.. I am taking painkillers it is so bad which means I just go to sleep.. and my house remains hovelesque!!

I'm not actually sure what to do to improve matters and give me back the motivation my hovel desperately needs!!

Hope your back is soon feeling better Pigpen x

    Ironing done
    Ds1's bed changed
    Master bed changed
    Bedding laundered
    2 x additional wm done

Popped out to buy and deliver nephew's 32nd birthday present. We went to the city shops yesterday to buy him something and forgot. I then ordered something from Mr T to be delivered with grocery order and it didn't come so had to go today.

I have just dug out the wii fit board and did 32 mins on there. It said it was 2137 days since I had been on and I had lost 13lb :) it also said that it hadn't seen my husband for about same amount off time.

Half term here this week. Ds2 is bored already x

    Afternoon.
A lazy day has been had with not much flying!

Ds2 was feeling much better this morning so after church we dropped him at nannies and he is sleeping over until the morning! Happy boy!
Then I did a minimal weekly shop and then hubby and I (with ds2) went to pub to visit some family. We have been back an hour and have chilled on the sofa having a cuppa! It is so much easier with one child!

The wm has been on once but I am going to put another load on and then have a general tidy up. The place is still looking ok though!

Pigpen- backs can be a nightmare. Hope it eases soon x

Had successful meal with brother and friends last night - managed the recipe for rice balls filled with mozarella which was reasonably successful and seemed to be appreciated.
Bit more decluttering from stables with brother and SIL who are now on their way home to Basingstoke with a car containing 4 rolled-up rubber mats and various other horsy items; well decluttered. Few tears when I got home but determined to get a grip; it's only stuff. Mr N and I are going away for a few days in April, so we started doing a bit of research to plan what we might like to do - it's Sussex so quite a bit for the bird watching. We're determined to make the most of our horse-free state to enjoy weekends away, keeping up better with friends & family and exploring the UK a bit more.

MIL round for dinner this eve, but plenty of food left from last 2 days so no real work to do. Just need to get her home before the double whammy of Call the Midwife and the new Indian Summers.
Got an assessment tomorrow morning so I need to get paperwork organised for that. Managed to declutter a few more things from the office over the weekend too.

Pigpen hope your back gets better; you really deserve some better luck.
