  • It stinks here! At certain times of the year if the winds in the wrong direction the muck that is spread on the farm fields wafts over the town. The kids were all wandering round the playground with scarves pulled up over their faces gangster style to try and keep the smell away, a few were blaming each other till I told them about muck spreading.

    .

This proper made me chuckle and reminded me of when kids were in nappies, I was constantly changing nappies that didn't need changing when hubby was muck spreading haha.

Again no flying particularly done today but house is reasonable.

However, will attempt to do some over weekend, but plans are:-

    Wall Climbing tomorrow morning.
Watching "Fast and Furious" movies with hubby and boys
Supposedly romantic (surprise for me) meal for 2 at our local (however landlord let it slip hubby had booked and hubby's mate took it upon himself to book table next to us so all romance gone out of window haha)
Sunday standing at B&M cashiers for 3 hours while DS2 packs bags for dance charity
Sunday afternoon, playing pool with family at local Hot Shots (should be fun)

Sure i'll find sometime to do a bit of flying and if not, always Monday :)

Have a fab weekend everyone, especially you Dusty, have a lovely birthday :)
Loving life to the full, just need purse full too :)

Well th ursdays list is now complate. Managed to do it all before dinner, cooked dinner and then did some volunteer coaching until 7pm. Quick change in the changing rooms and hubby picked me up to go to a friends party. We were driving back at 11 when hubby said 'oh no! I need to go to a shop!' So I had to drop him off at the 24 hour tesco! Why do men always leave until the last minute! He walked home while I put the kids to bed. We hadn't had dinner so we had tea and toast before coming to bed!

Our bedroom is in desperate need so will definately do that tomorrow!
    Night all!

Happy birthday to dusty and Mr e!

    Happy Birthday Dusty x

and Happy Birthday to romantic Mr Elastic too!

My DH :A bought me a beautiful bunch of mixed long-stem roses yesterday, rather than pay an outrageous price for Valentine's Day :money:

My list has shrunk noticeably in the past 24 hours :) but I've still got plenty to keep me occupied tomorrow while DH is off playing trains.

I need to get up early in the morning so must get some shut-eye now. Good night - hope you all have a good weekend x

Happy birthday to my lovely friend Dusty. I'm sorry you've picked up a cold, rotten timing.

    Happy birthday to Mr Elastic.

DS3 is sleeping in his new bedroom. The carpet was fitted yesterday and we built the bed. DD2 is delighted with the extra space in her room. It's amazing how removing a chest of drawers makes a difference.

It's the local farmers market this morning. It gets really busy so we try to go early. I will go to my poorly lady afterwards before we head off to DS3's cricket coaching, followed by a visit to a proposed dog sitter.

We are out at a friends tonight for dinner. Valentines is a non event as it's sandwiched between mine and his birthdays. There's only so much expense to go round.

    Wishing everyone a good day.
  • Morning - Happy Birthday Dusty hope Mum wasn't too late being allowed to leave last night.
Happy Birthday to Mr E - romance lives in the Elastic household.

We are having a romantic morning - well sort of from 9-2.30 we'll be dressed in red and blue raising funds for BHF and Diabetes UK at our big Mr T - I'll be wearing sparkly red heart-shaped deedly-boppers and Mr JTTOU has sparkly blue spherical ones!!!! (Thought I'd better describe them that way LOL) Or we may just swop!

After that we're running round like mad trying to finish house preps for return of DS tomorrow. Have done a parking and where's the caf! recce last night.

Have a great day everyone and catch up Tuesday. x
