  • Going to try to drop off the charity bags this week. Might need to be a bit more ruthless to clear out. Going to try to get my eBay up and going again so will set myself a target of x amount of listings per day as could really use the income.
Still waiting on the bills to come in so I know what has to be paid (!)
Driving lessons have gone well but may have to wait ages for the test now as there is such a backlog so again will set a goal date and see what happens.

  • Still haven't dropped off the bags!
Made about £43 profit on 3bay so happy with that.
Need to sort the grocery budget from next Monday . I think I'm at average £30 a week now but this could be a complete lie :# as then there's odd milk, bread, choc bar and bag of sugar type spends.
Still no solicitors bill (!) starting to bug me now as would like it paid off.

Ah bless your heart - i can cut out 100 more pages if you like ....lol...
In short, I sold a lot (if it wasn't nailed down i sold it) and just worked my b'side off lol so no tips in my diary I'm afraid but I did it.
I think my lowest points were food budget and having like £2 to buy food (!)
I have a good emergency fund these days and no real money worries but I have a big aversion to debt of any sort now lol  :D
I do have some really bills pending HMRC /solicitors etc, so those will be debts in a way as I don't want to use up savings to pay them off!
What you will find on these boards are wonderfully kind people who are full of support and this has always been helpful in busting the debt :)  xxxx

  • Glad you finally get it all paid off. Selling everything not nailed down is definitely something we should be doing, it would get rid of a lot of clutter and rubbish x

  • So ..the mobile died, then the hoover, then the kettle !😤
Got to the point it became laughable but argos sameday to the rescue.
    A really spendy day.😓

Brought packets crisps, honeynut peanuts (happy shopp3r) and tub celebrations so that's £6 off my food budget 😖 Need to report that amount in for the grocery challenge board!
Hope everyone is safe and well,
     Sam 😬

I brought the celebrations tub from Mr T as thought blow it lol it is Bank Holiday after all. Used up an old Iceland voucher so that's the shopping done for £4.35 - so total £10.35 to add in the grocery challenge and enough meals for a week maybe more.
Suggested to plus one we eat up all we have in for a bit and he looked at me like I had lost the plot. 😂
I need to get my 3bay shiz on and start getting some extra funds rolling in. 🤞

Checked banking, did a bit of budget and paid off my cc back to zero 😇.

Still waiting on bills (!) and hopefully am in credit with electric by the full amount needed.
Decided to have a rest with a coffee and catch up on diaries for a bit today.
Have cleared out flat pretty much - just need a rubbish clearance to come and to let the agents know tomorrow morning. So in with OH temporarily from tomorrow. At least it gets everything moving in the right direction. Hoping not to have any issues there as its rented but on the plus that will be deposit back.

Need to do same at my owned house although it's more difficult due to distance. I really should work on getting this sold ready for "our" home next year. I am so rubbish with change.
Peed off today as family asked to lend money off me but it would be give rather than lend so I've said no. I wouldn't mind but they don't seem to learn and I can't keep giving month on month. Feel nasty but told them to sit down and do a budget.
    Hope everyone is good.
