  • Need to sort out the bills which will now be exhausted savings and possibly *New debts* so solicitors bills, funeral costs etc so will probably be back on a new diary BUT no regrets as loved mum and she deserved the best send off.
Feeling low most days but getting better think the lack of a job has not helped  at all with everything from focus to paying the bills. No luck on the job front yet and after many CV rewrite attempts I may get one done for myself - different pair of eyes and all that.
Think I need to evaluate what I want to do and go for something less demanding /lower paid but once I know how much I need and what my budget needs to be this will help. Feel pressured as plus one wants to buy a house together so might need to be mortgage ready!!  Most importantly Hope everyone is well and safe  o:)<3

I hope things get easier for you soon Sam.
Good luck with the job hunting.  Are there any friends you could ask for fresh eyes on a CV, before paying someone?

  • I managed to get a CV review for under £30 so not too bad see what feedback it brings.
Still haven't sat down to sort the bills which I must do next week - taking a breather thus weekend from endless job seeking .
Been to moms to clean windows and cut grass and knackered now.
Just dyed my roots ;-) so think thats quite enough chores lol
Not sure if its all the change on top of everything,  staying with plus one and now 2 messy dogs to look after too.
Hope everyone is well xxx Sam

  • Bit of an update from me . Had my hair done in the hairdressers so nice for a change but didn't last long.
Threw away some make up this morning but think it is really old anyway to be honest and probably Xmas presents gifted to me (!)
I have a lot of beauty products (again birthday gifted to me) so if I can get away with it I will sell some.

Got 2 bags of nice things ready for charity shop and 1 bin bag to sell on eBay (but no rush as mainly winter bits)
Need to go through the finances!
I know I have circa 4k debt coming (well bills to pay off) but I have a big EF so worst case it can be used.
Income at all time low of £751 pcm but the not working as much is helping my long term health.
Plus one and i still have three places between us, so need to give up my flat asap and maybe sell the other house.
Thinking of you all and wishing you well.

  • Hi,
We are thinking about buying something together start of next year in 2021 but a little apprehensive as lived on my own for 8 years lol
Although its nice to have the time off I'm panicky about income so will have to do some eBay and perhaps look for more hours .
