  • Happy new year lovely peeps :):)

How is everyone this morning? I am clear headed thankfully which is surprising given that I had a lot of fizz and DS was awake a lot last night. I am so so happy it's 2016 :) new OP limit kicks in, hurrah :T:T even though we may well be moving, OPing is still THE priority and getting to five figures in 12 months time is still the plan!

    So today's plan...

    - print and envelope letter to mortage provider enc. OP cheque ready to post tomorrow
    - spag Bol in slow cooker (food spends have been shocking in December)
    - make an OP online - not sure how much yet...
    - arrange a second viewing on the house - got vendors number so can arrange directly :)

    Best wishes all, ATB xxx:)

Hope the second viewing confirms all the benefits of the new house! :)

We somehow stayed up until 12:30 as well - no alcohol for us but the dogs woke me up bright and early for their walk.

Thats a great OP! I put nearly that much into my savings account today, but I might have to pull it out again later this month to help with the tax payment!

I have decided to track our January food spends, including takeaways. Have set myself a grocery challenge of £300 for everything, I will add a line into my signature to enable me to keep track.... :) x

  • Hi Guys :)

The second viewing was great and... we put an offer in subject to us selling ours! Not sure if its been accepted yet.... you will of course be the first to know ;)

Have reduced DS to one day a week at nursery starting from next week - saving £160 a month and will make it easier for him to leave the nursery if we do get the house. Just spent £80 at Ocado - stocked up on toiletries, new toothbrushes etc - not too much actual food in there though! xx
