  • Sounds good all around! :)

I sometimes wonder why we're pushing ourselves (read: me pushing us, DH is happy with the result but has no incentive to get there :p). Then I remember that it's all beneficial anyway, even if we're MF and decide to upgrade our house cost-wise and take on another mortgage we'll still be (much) better off than if we'd just done the standard payment. And if we stick with our upgrade-size-downgrade-cost plan we should have a nice cash out when we move.

Plus, as you say, why not challenge ourselves? ;)
  • Thanks hiddenshadow :) Totally agree, it is me pushing us here too, but DH is very happy to be pushed and agrees with most things I suggest to him ;)

Its persisting it down here and the children are climbing the walls... would it be bad parenting to have a glass of wine at lunchtime?! x

Thankfully DH is similar, he said the other day that he's happy I have motivation/ambition to get us somewhere otherwise neither of us would do anything. ;)

Not a parent, and I don't drink, but I can think of worse things than having a relaxed parent for the afternoon. ;)

    To you too, ATB.

Have to say, I just read your comment about the nursery fees taking up so much of your "surplus" !!! That move will pay for itself!

    Happy New Year :)

  • You're quite right KC, it really will. Our plans for NYE involve a bottle of fizz and the last three episodes of Breaking Bad, we really know how to live!

    Best wishes xx

    Hello ATB,

Just popping by to have a read through your diary, sorry to hear that your neighbours aren't very nice, it does make things difficult.

    Happy New Year to you
