Great to see targets set. You go girl!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Good morning friends,

Just popping my head in the door from rainy North Wales! Mustn't grumble as we have had some nice weather so far, and even managed some beach time :):)

We just love it here, as far as I'm concerned you can't beat a British seaside holiday for kids :)

OP made of £200 to keep the momentum flowing, off to update signature. Plans for today are TBC but may involve the little local fair & amusement arcade - 2penny machines are a hit with DD!

    Take care xx

    Good morning friends,

Well the weather has turned for the better so we are staying until Sunday instead of going home today :):) I am so pleased - I don't feel quite ready to go back to real life just yet!

Having some time and headspace whilst here has really made me think a lot about our MF plans. Our goals as set out in my signature are very ambitious but I'm always up for a challenge!

I have decided to ensure I post on here daily and do at least one little thing each day to help towards mortgage freedom :):):) so today I will:

    1. Send a £50 OP to the mortgage
    2. Buy the co-op offer (£5 for pizza, wedges, garlic bread, onion rings and ben&jerrys ice cream!) for tea instead of a pricey takeaway (£20 plus here for a pizza delivered!)
    3. Plan my work for next week (earnt nothing this week due to being away)

    Have lovely days all xx
    MFW :)

ATB great to hear the weather is nice for you all. Wow this COOP deal sounds great...all that for £5
It is pay day here so I was thinking takeaway pizza tonight but that £19 so maybe I need to find a local coop.

Enjoy the rest of your break x

I agree, that Co-op offer does sound great, ATB.

We stopped having takeaways about 6 months ago - we'd always get one every so often on a whim but then afterwards felt like we hadn't really enjoyed it...not for the amount it costs anyway! It's probably saved us a lot of money :money:

I hope the rose cava is going down well. We had Tesco fresh in store pizza, garlic bread and chocolate trifle (actually haven't had any dessert). Put our little diamonds to bed. Will do our money shuffle and then to enjoy some dessert x
    Whats tilly tidied?

It's yum ;) if you take a look at Tilly MFW in 6 years thread, she 'Tilly tidies' money into her future pot, e.g to round the amount in a current account to whole pounds. I've pinched her phrase :):)

Well done on opting for tesco pizza not a takeaway xx
