    HI ATB,

I have been lurker on your thread, but just wanted to pop in and say how great you are doing.

I hope the rose cava is going down well. We had Tesco fresh in store pizza, garlic bread and chocolate trifle (actually haven't had any dessert). Put our little diamonds to bed. Will do our money shuffle and then to enjoy some dessert x
    Whats tilly tidied?

Diamonds, Tilly is very inspirational - definitley a great thread to read. I lurk over there and the Tilly Tidies certainly add up.

Hope you enjoy your hol ATB x

I've just worked out that since starting my diary we have halved our daily interest amount from £19.59 to £9.93. Wow.

That is phenomenal. We are similar in that in January it was £14.80. It's now £7.20, but a major part in that was out remortgage and halving the rate from 4% to 1.99%.

Going onto the fixed 2.34% deal will have had a huge impact - 'twas 3.99% before.

Perfect beach day here, now feet up watching CBeebies before tiddler bath time. If we were MF we could spend so much more time here, now that is a motivating thought x

    Good morning friends,

Well we are back home after a very long car journey in the rain yesterday. I slept really badly last night so lots of cups of tea required to get me through today! Both littlies are at home with me today so hopefully they will be well behaved for mummy! Lots to crack on with and catch up with, so here's a list for today:

    1. Visit to the Post Office
    2. Food shop at Lidl
    3. Menu plan for the week
    4. Transfer sister in law £30 I owe her
    5. Tilly Tidy some money to the mortgage
    6. Work meeting - hopefully I will earn around £200 this week
    7. Email Scottish Power to find out if I'm in credit and ask for the money back if so

I am really looking forward to August - July has been fairly lean with lots of additional costs - I hope August will be quieter thereby freeing more money for mortgage payments. Have lovely days all xx:):):)

    Good evening friends,

Jobs 1-6 done on my list :):):) Scottish Power will have to roll over to tomorrow, I haven't the patience to deal with them today as I am really flagging now after my poor night's sleep. Got another couple of hours work to do at least this evening, trying to give myself an easier day tomorrow.

    Have lovely evenings all,
    ATB xx

Had to cancel my hairdresser appointment that was booked in for later in the week as I've been asked to meet a customer that day, so £50 sent to the mortgage instead x

    Good morning all,

I have a childfree day today as my lovely friend is looking after them both for me all day :):) I have quite a list to get through but also want to factor in some me time. So today's jobs are:

    1. Order bits and bobs for DD party bags
    2. Buy several birthday cards
    3. Batch cook a spag Bol and a chilli
    4. Put clean laundry away
    5. Wash our bedding
    6. Trip to the post office
    7. Two hours of paid work

That's all for now, if I get that little lot done I'll treat myself to a soak in the bath and a home-done pedicure! Oh and of course I'll Tilly tidy some money to the mortgage :) have lovely days all x

    Morning friends,

I got all of my chores done yesterday but also had quite a spendy day. I am therefore aiming for NSDs for today, Thursday and Friday. Off to Tilly Tidy some money to the mortgage first ;) xx
