If anyone is actually working for AQA or Textperts could help me, I just want to know how many hours a week you can work? Can you work as many as you want when you want or do you have set hours within your contract?

    Thanks

You work whenever you want at AQA, as long as there is questions available.

    I hear textperts is shifts.

    Hi Guys

Has anyone managed to secure a position with this company without a Degree?

I have just sent off my Application Form and Test Results!

    Thanks!

I don't have a degree and have a friend who also works for them who doesn't have one. Where does it say it is essential? I never saw that :S

I got through the Texperts quiz today and sent AQA an email requesting an application pack.

The last question in the Texperts quiz was fiendish, lol - it was "How long would it take a spider to spin a web round the world at the equator?" My answer said what the equatorial circumference of the earth was, then I managed to find out that a garden spider can spin a web of up to 2 feet in 2 hours. At that point I was running out of time and didn't have time to work through all the maths, so I copped out and said that the spider would be long dead before it got anywhere near ;)

Now I've just googled the bloody question, and someone has come up with an answer on WikiAnswers! I should have played around with search terms rather than spending so long on how fast a spider can spin silk. Doh! Hopefully I'll still get through. Are they actually recruiting at the moment?

I sent my AQA test back a few days ago. Only thing is I only have 1 work reference as my previous 2 companies have now shut down. It's a long time since I was at school so have emailed Rowina to ask about alternative referees.

Hope I get through as it was fun and I get bored of the telly and hubby is a gamer.

    Hi everyone,

I submitted my AQA application on 11th June and had heard nothing, so I e-mailed it to them again a few days ago.

I've just heard that I've been accepted, pending a successful induction! I'm so excited! :D

When I finished the test and read back through my answers, I really thought I'd failed miserably, but decided to send it in anyway.

So if there's still anyone out there who hasn't heard anything, it's definitely worth giving them a nudge!

  • I was just wondering what realistic sum could you expect to earn each month? Are you paid by question and if so how much do you receive per question?

    Many thanks

  • Hi Shabbichicfan, you get paid 30p per question. You can earn as much as you want. It's difficult to give a realistic figure as you can work whenever you like and some questions take longer to answer than others. Also, some days you get loads of easy questions and some days you get get loads of difficult ones.

I just decide how much I need to make for the month, break it down into daily amounts and work till I reach my target amount. Then I do some more on top of that.

As an example, I work an hour or so before I go to work, then a couple hours in the night and most of the weekend. I get very close to £500. It does get easier over time. Each month I try to make more than I did the previous month - really just as a challenge to myself.
  • Thanks Iwant - I sent the email asking for the application form 2 days ago but have heard nothing!??

Surely I haven't been rejected before I have applied properly! :rotfl:

Any idea how long they normally take to respond? I only want their application form, its not like I have taken the test or anything..
