I think the degree requirement is just so they know you're educated enough to answer the questions well. I don't have one (I'm only 18!) but they accepted me. It's the answers that count. Get the test right and not much else matters, I think.

I made one spelling mistake and sent 4 questions back at slightly over than the 153

I did it in a little over 60 minutes though, including getting a bottle of Juice for my Daughter AND answering the Door to Jehovah's Witnesses who knock regularly.

I have my completed form saved anyways, and will show anyone who wants to see!! :D

I thought it would be a fun little bit of extra money, so I took the test, passed on the first go and got the email saying sign the contract and return in 10 days. I did, obviously and have not heard back--this was in March 2008. So, I sent another signed contract in after numerous emails to both Rowina and the deOlivera person. I have heard nothing back and wondered if this was a normal practice--they just accept people and then drop them when they have enough responses?

They are still advertising on some websites, so either they are just completely messing me around or they've lost every one of my communications. Any one else had this issue? If so, what did you do?

    Thanks.

Woohoo!! I had an email through yesterday to say that I have been successful in my application! I have now received a contract to sign and return (though I will need to investigate self-employed status for this - I am employed full-time in another job) and once i've returned that then hopefully my induction will take place in the next few days :j

I was just wondering how they pay you?
Are you paid straight into your bank or do you get a cheque & do you have to sort out your own tax?
    Thanks :D

You are paid directly into your bank account, usually between 5-8 of the month, for the previous months answers.

You are classed as a freelance researcher, and as such, responsible for your own tax affairs.

    Hope this helps

Are they recruiting in the UK at present or not? Some of the posters here seem to imply they are but their website says otherwise. if not, how long before they might be recruiting again?
    Thanks.
