  • You can login whenever you feel like it, work as long as or short as you want. No set targets. Only need to answer at least 1 question per month to keep your account open and need to keep your skip rates at certain levels.

    Great fun.
  • great, thank you. and do you know the average speed for answering questions? just wondering how much i could realistically earn.
  • I submitted my application and test results earlier on. I do think I gave some great answers and they we're all in accordance to what AQA say they require. If I don't get through then I'll never understand why unless prehaps it was down to the application form and not the answers.

I can only wait and hope.

You have 15-20 minutes to answer a question. As you become more experienced, your speed increases. I have been doing it for 3 months and I am averaging around 4 minutes per question. To be honest, a lot of the times I spend the full 15 minutes on one just because it is challenging or interesting.

I make average £300 per month - working about 3 hrs most nights and sometimes a half hour or so before I go to work, and on weekends. It is hard at first, but eventually you learn where the most useful websites are, and then it gets easier.

Just remember that with AQA quality, spelling & grammar count more than speed.
  • I submitted my application to Romany 11/02/08 and sent a follow up ten days later as suggested but still not heard back.

Keep checking forum every day to see if any of the others that submitted around the same time has had replies... Where have you all gone?

Trying so hard to be patient and wait. :-)

    Good luck to you all.
  • If you've not heard by now I'd just apply again, they do seem to be quite slow in processing applications though.

They are currently recruiting in the U.K

  • I submitted my application and test back and within 5 days I had a response saying that I had been successful.

    Yay!

I don't understand why some people are having to wait longer for a response - prehaps its down to the commitments of whoever it is that is dealing with your application.

    Good luck.

    Congratulations :)

I submitted my second application and test on Monday night (the first, and follow up emails, were never acknowleged) so just got to wait now. :)

i dont undertsnad how it works at all

Using your PC, you log into their "question bank" and if there are available questions you are assigned one. You are automatically assigned questions until you stop or there are no more questions at that time. You have a set amount of time to research and answer each question. Sometimes the question has been asked before so you can pick a previous answer from the list (you get paid the same whether you answer or pick so the payment per question takes this into account). If you cannot answer the question after researching, you can skip it and it'll be passed to somebody else to try. If a question is skipped a given number of times, it ends up in the "hard queue". Often these questions are not actually "hard" and someone can answer them quite easily. You are expected to answer a number of hard questions each month (not sure the %).

When you want to stop answering Qs, you click "STOP". How much you work is completely in your control. I knew somebody when I first started that answered about 300 questions in an 8 hour shift (over £11ph) so it is possible but probably not every single day. You get some times of the day that are busy and some times are quiet. I found weekends and friday evenings to be busiest (but I stopped working for them a few months back so this might have changed).

They pay you each month where you have made over £20 straight into your bank account. If you have not worked enough to make over £20 they accumulate it until you have over £20 then transfer it into your bank.

I used to work for them after I graduated while I was waiting to start my graduate position. I got in on my first try and had good reviews during the time I worked with them. Like an earlier poster said, spelling & punctuation is key so I'd recommend running a spell check in Excel before sending it through and re-reading your answers.

I absolutely loved it working for AQA. On busy evenings, it is possible to hit £8ph or more. Work got too busy for me to continue though.

As well as earning decent extra cash, you get to know loads of random and unusual facts.
