I have been doing AQA for about a year now but the amount of questions available at the moment (especially at the weekends) are the lowest I've ever known, making it difficult to make any decent money. I've asked my SR as to why but haven't received a response yet.

Have to agree with this. Getting to the point where I'm considering unregistering as self-employed and giving it up. Don't know if there are too many researchers or not enough questions.....

Probably a combination of both. Customers reining in their spending and a glut of new researchers. I go on AQA every night but there is just not enough 'normal' questions to make it worthwhile, and then my SR has a go for me not answering enough questions....AAAHHHH!

That's a bit much... are you sure it's not your skip rate they're grumbling about?

  • hi there! :) i sent my application back to Romany yesterday - now everyone's talking about a Rowina, does that mean it's not going to go anywhere?

No, there are virtually no questions to skip, that's how bad it is at the moment. When I started I could do a solid 2 -3 hours every night and make a good £20 - £30, it's not even scraps at the moment! :(

Really? I've done 40 hours this week and have made the equivalent of a weekly wage for someone on a 15k salary, I don't think that is that bad really.

As someone who has recently left AQA I would have to agree with Skeksis. I found the amount of questions really low and it was very difficult to make even minimum wage. Trying to keep on top of skip rate % and hard question % was also getting tougher as there were fewer questions.

This in itself I could just about cope with but when the SR starts 'having a go' because you are not answering enough I got too annoyed lol! I did retaliate and point out that there weren't enough questions to allow for a decent wage I was told I was 'lucky to have any job at all'. As I also have a full time job I decided that enough was enough!

But on the positive side it does enable you to simply log on whenever you want and the payment was always accurate and prompt so it can work wonderfully for a lot of people.

I am with texpert now and they are suffering the same lack of work problem but at least they are nice about it! Means a lot to me.

 I understood there was no minimum number of questions as long as you answered one or two during each month to keep your account with them open.

    That's what I thought too.

That's my understanding too.... no-one's moaned at me... yet! I made the grand total of £2 in February so if anyone's got it coming, it's me! :j
