I think it depends on your SR with AQA (no one has ever had a go at me on texperts, but then I have always been over the £100 mark). My SR was particularly officious, I'm sure they are not all the same and many don't take issue.
I too was under the impression that there was minimum and although they didn't tell me otherwise the 'tellings off' made it clear that they expected more.0 -
Well... if anyone tries to have a go at me I'll start quoting their T&Cs at them.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Hi. I've been reading this thread with a lot of interest as I applied for a job with AQA a few weeks ago. I received an e-mail today telling me I'd passed the test and need to sign a contract before the induction.
I have a question though, and will be really grateful if someone is able to answer.
In the e-mail, it says:
I'm a little confusedPlease read, sign & return the contract within the next 10 days. You can either email it back to me ensuring that you have re-named the document as your Firstname Lastname.doc, or you can return it by post to [address]. *PLEASE NOTE that a REAL SIGNATURE is required to validate the contract (NOT A TYPED ONE) and you ONLY NEED TO RETURN THE SIGNED FIRST PAGE. You needn’t worry about returning your contract back by email, if you will be posting a signed copy.*
as it says I can e-mail it back or return it by post, but then says a real signature is required.
So do I definitely have to mail the signed copy?0 -

No.
Either scan in/take digital pic of your actual signature & attach it to the contract then email it OR sign the form and put it in the post. Do one or the other.0 -
When I joined, I signed the contract and emailed them a scanned copy showing my signature. That's probably all you need to do, but just to be on the safe side I posted the hard copy to Rowina as well!
They just mean that you can't email them the contract without a proper signature on it (i.e. you can't just type your name in the signature box, it has to be real handwriting).
Good luck with your induction
