Mine got declined last week for no reason, so I made a claim and I'm waiting for the merchant to reply.

I stopped using TCB months ago as this was happening far too much and they did little about it. I've never had any problems with quidco and they have price matched for me as well.

Has anyone received both the 'refer a friend' bonus and the £80.80 TCB payment? I opened an account via TCB back in March and received the 'refer a friend' bonus a few weeks later, but the £80.80 is still just showing as confirmed. Just wondered about other people's experiences.

I opened an account at the end of March and the £80.80 has been sitting as confirmed for the past few weeks.

I'm not too concerned at the moment as usually once it enters the confirmed stage you do get the money eventually.

I used quidco and the payment went beyond the date it was due, with a status of payment delay. I eventually contacted quidco who agreed to pay it themselves and continue to chase Nationwide.

I suppose in theory somebody might ask for it back - but it is looking positive so far.

Same as mine. I tried to open up a case with TCB but got a message back I need to wait at least 5 weeks after expiry of estimated payment date.

Mine went to "payable" fairly quickly but the first time I did it (over a year ago) it took quite a while. Just sit tight.

The estimate for my TCB confirmed payment from Nationwide was 12 weeks from end of March so now three weeks overdue.

Are Narionwide just very tardy about paying out?

TCB answered my query and apologised but told me to wait as some merchants take longer than the estimate.

In the meantime I received TCB payouts from Co op and Santander the latter taking about four weeks from account opening.

Pull your socks up Nationwide I'm waiting for my free cash!;)

Under similar circumstances Quidco paid me from their own pocket, and then chased Nationwide...and that was for a payment just one day overdue. Don't TCB operate a similar policy?

From their answer to me TCB blame the merchant but ask me to wait (without chasing Nationwide). If I still don't get the payment paid out in a week I think I will suggest they pay me and then ask Nationwide for reimbursement as it doesn't make their cashback ethos very credible when they take four months or more to pay out!?

Am in the same situation Yorkshire Pud - transaction in March and now £80.80 overdue.

But I'm not quite so worried about it as you (not yet anyway). Their general statement for Nationwide says "We last received a payment from this merchant during May 2015, for transactions in February 2015." So they haven't had anything from nationwide, for anyone, since May. Yes it's overdue (especially judging by the time taken for the last payment), but I'm assuming it will happen soon...

(Edited to add - now (23rd July) paid - see my post below)
