  • I really like Aadhira which means "moon" :) Could be shortened to Adi / Addy?

I also think Lalam is incredibly cute sounding :p:p

Something like that while nice he will spend his entire life spelling his name out to people.

A friend of ours has a Jai (prono jay). Or another has a dhillon (I think that's how she spells it) as that was her surname (she's Indian)

Or we have friends called Anil (Ani) and Sunil (sunny) who are twins. Or we have Junaid (but he's a john?)

Ds1 has a very similiar name to this (and i am forever spelling it out :rotfl:)

Still haven't come across 'the name' yet so please do keep suggestions coming, they are all very much appreciated! I am also finding that a lot of names have been used by close family so i'm reluctant to use them again!

Ben - short from Benoy, although I'd just stick with Ben and have that as a nod towards a more Indian name. Know what you mean, Indian names are, well, just very Indian! It's hard to find something that's a bit more inbetween.

    Dahruul another maybe.

    Dax? That's a bit different.

Found a few on here: http://www.bachpan.com/Hindu-Boy-Names-A.aspx If you choose 'boy' and 'short and sweet' that brings up lots.

Let us know how you get on :)
