Need to do 4.9k to finish the Peru Inca trail!! Not sure which mammoth trek is next on the list - but whatever it is keeping me moving! LOL.
It was a beautiful day yesterday - the sea was so calm it looked like silk.

Morning all
Thank you all for your continues thoughts, DH didn't even bother to ask after her when he got in last night.
Just having a cuppa and a glass of water as I've woken with a thick head. I've text Mum but no reply so far this morning.
Obviously I'm going to need to go to the hospital at some point and we are going out to dinner tonight for DS3's birthday.
List for if I can do it:
Pay carpenter and hairdresser online
Meal plan and food shop
Take a wash down to my neighbours, hope DH isn't in a foul mood and looks at the WM
Clean the bathroom
Clear and wipe the kitchen sides
Dust the DR
Sort more paperwork
Do street party emails/letters
Another cuppa, remove ginger from my lap, empty litter tray and empty DW and wash up and then off I go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hope today is not too stressful Dusty.
I have taken the dogs for a long walk and dug over the new plot for my veggies. Oh and planted some veg seeds in the greenhouse.
Just having a cuppa, meal plan for week is done and fridge is tidy, so I think a quick hoover round downstairs is in order before I get ready to go out.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Hi all
Been MIA for a couple of days with few things on my mind. But I'm pulling myself together today and so far I've:
Put 2 washes on
Tidied kitchen
Set DW on
Built 2 lego cars and played a dragon game
Tidied conservatory - quite nice with the heater on
Got fakeaway in slow cooker for later
Decluttered visit from Dad
Made an early lunch
We were supposed to be at a swimming gala but DS has decided he'd rather stay home and play. They are both so tired from the panto on Thursday night (finished at 10pm!! And school next day!!) that I think it's for the best. Hence the early lunch that now could have been later... Have emailed Beavers lady to let her know we won't be there.
So I'm going to use the time this afternoon to:
S&S the sinks and loos
Tidy DD bedroom, with her help
Sort the paper and pens bucket
Empty kitchen bin and wipe round
Strip spare bed and remake.
Tonight I want to get some photos off the ipad and onto the external drive, sorted into folders. I haven't done this for a few months and I used to do it monthly.
Tomorrow I want to get in the garage / office and have a good sort, vac and mop. There's footwear all over and pushchairs plus my desk wants a bit of a dust and some attention. And do some more beds if I get chance. DS might be going to his friends and DD might go too - so I could have an hour or two to get stuff done!
Hope things start to pick up for your mum very soon, dusty
Hugs all round. It's a grim time of year. Vitamin D ladies, have an egg or two. Salmon is also a good source and some fortified cereals and spreads. A great excuse for smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast?Bossymoo

My washer is an LG direct drive washer dryer. My inlaws bought us it when DH was poorly as the other one was making a real racket every time we used it.
Had it over 3 years and it's great, 8kg wash, 4kg dry (I rarely use the dryer). Has a 30min was cycle which is great for refreshing garments (and washing kids shoes <oops>) and also a baby / medical rinse - which I guess is just a hot wash, lol.
I think it was over £500 though
MIL sometimes puts the odd wash on here and she wishes she had the same one but it wouldn't fit in their cupboard.Bossymoo
